We still love our bed, and experiences like that are exactly why we will only shop at Michaelis when it's time to replace anything. Shop local!! More recently, I bought a bed for my son that eventually started to break down and develop a slope. I reached out to Mike Clough, sent him some photos, and he got the warranty approved immediately -- truly amazing service. We brought my son into the store to try out replacement options, and Mike was incredibly kind, patient, and determined to find the perfect bed for him. Unfortunately, within a month or so, the new bed developed a large hole -- clearly a defective mattress. I contacted Mike again, and he went straight to the owner. They approved a full swap for the same mattress in a medium firmness. The new bed is arriving today, and I am so relieved and grateful -- especially during the holidays. Mike and the whole team at Michaelis Mattress have been nothing short of exceptional. Their customer service, honesty, and willingness to make things right have earned my loyalty. Highly recommend!

We purchased a mattress last August from Mike Clough at the Lexington store. In less than a year we experienced problems with the mattress. After submitting pictures of the issues. we received a new mattress in less than a week!! The men who delivered the mattress and took away the old one were courteous and professional. It pays to shop with local businesses that appreciate you as a customer. We are looking forward to a good night's sleep again and I highly recommend Michaelis to anyone considering a new mattress.

I googled and found a company called "Best Mattress" in Columbia SC and saw they had all 5 Star ratings. Since they make custom mattress and the boat mattress was an usual shape, they couldn't give me a firm price but gave me a price range. They picked up the mattress, made the new mattress, and dropped it back off all within 2 weeks! And, the price came in at the low end of their price range! We are in awe with their level of customer service! I bought a mattress from them in 2014. Had a…read moregreat experience then but this review is about 2018. The mattress I bought was collapsing on one of the corners. I called them up and they found my account immediately. They said that they could fix it but they were extremely busy because students were coming back to college and they were filled with orders. However, Buddy told me if I could drop the mattress off and let him know in advance, they could probably get it finished by that afternoon. I let him know I would drop it off on a Friday morning and that they could keep it as long as they needed so they could fulfill the orders for new mattresses. My fiancé and I had another mattress we could use in the interim. We then also asked if they could add more padding while they were working on it. We knew that wouldn't be covered under the warranty but had no problem paying a fee to make that happen. I dropped the mattress off at 9am. They said it would would be ready between 3 & 4pm. Everyone I dealt with was professional and friendly. They delivered as promised and the mattress looks as good as It did the day it was delivered! I can not say enough about how impressed we are with Best Mattress. This mattress is a queen size. We want a king by next year and will definitely be buying it from Best! They are the epitome of what customer service should be!!

Erin was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She greeted us immediately and asked the right questions about what we were looking for and budget. She saw Momma was disabled so we sat her at the front while we went to look at beds. Momma tried a few different beds before choosing and Erin was so nice about momma moving slow. We enjoyed conversation while finishing paperwork. We fully intend on traveling back to Lexington from Florida for our next bed!! BoxDrop is amazing, inexpensive, and we can't wait for Momma to sleep in her new bed. Thank you BoxDrop and Erin! We really appreciate you!

Overall our purchase was good, delivery was faster than expected. Furniture durability remains a mystery for now. Since having owned a week or so now, the quality as far as comfort is great.
