One of the many restaurants in Buenos Aires dedicated to Tucuman-style empanadas. Given the competition, I'm not sure that this is the best place to get empanadas. The empanada dough here is kinda hard and crunchy, almost like one of those nasty apple pies from McDonalds...not what you'd expect from a cute little empanada. The empanadas here are also kinda pricy, almost two dollars for an empanada which is expensive even by New York standards. That said, if you look at other things on the menu, they have amazing locro! Perfect for a windy winter night in Buenos Aires. Another huge plus is wi-fi, and the atmosphere is incredibly chill with interesting music choices. I'm guessing some kind of native Tucuman music?? Either way, much better then the "siga bailando mami no pare" type of songs you hear in most places in Buenos Aires. Come for the locro, stay for the cool music! read more
