LOVED the VIBES! We visited primarily for the arena section, but I absolutely loved the aesthetic of the Tucson Convention Center! Its modern, sleek, and spacious! The glass doors and clearly marked entry ways are fantastic. TCC is a great addition to DT Tucson. It's a hub for expos, hockey, and fan events. I even spotted a seasonal ice rink during the month of December! Parking is only $10 dollars in between TCC and the Double Tree Hotel. read more

I've been here for various shows. It's nice they finally have a completed parking garage out front but it's expensive to park there and very time consuming. Seats are very uncomfortable. They redid the seats to create more spots to make more money and now the chairs are made for children or at least not a full size adult as myself. Definitely not my favorite venue. read more

I was staying at a nearby hotel so I walked over. It looked like parking was paid via online as the parking attendant booth was unmanned and there were no self-pay kiosks. read more

Came here for Tucson Symphony Orchestra center and appreciate the staff is always so helpful and they have security at the entrance. The will call staff is always super nice and helpful and patient. I like the bar and coffee options they have added inside the venue. We had a great time the last time we were here. read more

Linda Rondstadt Hall Review: It isn't nice by any stretch. Kinda not nice actually. The balcony sears were literally torture! Hard folding seats, no cushion, no leg room (I'm only 5'8") & no food other than plastic bags of popcorn. Would not attend any events here due to uncomfortable seating & limited food. Seems like it could really use some tlc, upgrades or remodel - the Linda Rondstadt song the hall conjured for me is "When will I be loved?" read more

Had a great time at the Tucson Sugar Skulls First Responders and Military Appreciation Night. They have updated seats since my last visit, QR code parking lots are a plus as long as you have a smart phone. Staff are very helpful. Look forward to the next time we can visit. Good lighting. Came here for a hozier concert. Lines were crazy (expected not the venues fault). However, no lines to the men's bathrooms but wrapped around the stadium for the women's. They could have easily changed a men's to a women's as other venues have in the past. However, the reason for my poor review is they charge 5$ for a cup of water. Not even a bottle. A cup of water. There is no drinking fountains and you can't bring in a water bottle. So they force you to pay 5$ for a literal small plastic cup of water without free refills. It's capitalism to the extreme and clearly they don't care about their patrons. read more

I've been to the Tucson Convention Center for concerts and Roadrunners games. The sound is great for concerts and perfect for those who might want to sit at some point during the show. As far as hockey games go, there are no bad seats at this place. It's a great event space for multiple different uses. read more

As far as hockey games go, it's AWESOME. It seats roughly 6500, so it's on the "intimate" side of things. It's also in a horseshoe configuration, which is a nice touch (unless you like sitting behind the goal (I don't). It would be a solid 5 stars if the seats were a little bigger. read more

Went to the Comic Con festival which was a lot of fun. However, coming out of a different door than I came in, I got mixed up about where my car was parked. I found out there are three (3) parking lots around the Center. After asking five (5) security guards, not one could really help me figure out where my car was. At this point, I had gone to two garages, it was getting dark and my phone was running out of charge. I had to pay a Lyft driver to drive me to the remaining parking lot. Because there was a lot of traffic and he didn't want to go, I had to pull out $10 from my purse to get him to do a u-turn and drive into the garage. It did finally turn out to be the correct one. After inspecting the wall (there are zero parking lot attendants) I discovered the lots are marked with different letters and numbers. I was in P7604 which was different from P7601. If any of the two dozen security guards lurking around the Center had known that, perhaps they could have pointed me to the correct building. As it was, I spent 1.5 hrs looking for my car. This is why, mostly, when I hear of an event at the Convention Center, I pass. read more

Obviously this place doesn't know how to run an event. The doors were to be opened at 6 and over 30 minutes later people are still waiting in 100+ degree weather. People are starting to go into heat stroke but the venue won't open the doors to help people. I would never suggest attending a concert here. Horribly run. read more

On March 23, 2025, my son and I attended the Monster Jam at 6:00 pm. We got there 15 minutes early to be able to get our drinks and find our seats. A staff member directed us to section 222 row L seats 7 and 8.1 hour into the show, I was aggressively confronted by staff who claimed that I stole someone's seat, when I was put in that seat by staff, I was then forced to go to guest services with my son to figure out their miscommunication. When I spoke to Josh, the person in charge of staff, he gladly helped me even though I panicked and upset. The whole problem could have been solved completely differently. He ended up finding that the staff sat me in the wrong spot, and they were supposed to seat me in section 221 row L seats 7 and 8. I then was shown my correct seating after the whole altercation. It was half time by then, my son wanted to go out and take a breath because he was also panicking, when we tried going back inside, they did not let us. We didn't get the pleasure of watching the rest of the show due to a miscommunication among the TCC staff. I am honestly disappointed because it took 4 staff members to pull my 3-year-old son and myself out of our seats in the middle of the Monster Jam. After a staff member made a small mistake my son and I had to pay for it. I am traumatized by this experience, and I hope this never happens to anyone else and their child. read more

The first time I was here was for a hockey game. The Tucson Roadrunners are really fun to watch and live hockey is cool. But more importantly I went on $1 hot dog night and it was the best night of my life. Usually hot dogs here are over five bucks. There was even a sign that said "Limit four hot dogs per transaction" so fat idiots like me wouldn't hold it the line. I maxed out my per-transaction dog limit and it was glorious. The second time I showed up I decided to check out the other food options. There are several small carts set up that each have different types of food. I picked up a tray of tacos from one spot and then proceeded to the big concessions stand to get a big thing of nachos covered in meat. There was another cart that had sliders but I'll have to wait till next time to check that out because even I was too fat to keep going. Their beer selection isn't good save for the fact that they pour Dillinger Brewing Company's Roadrunner Red Ale. It's the only craft and only local beer option available but hey, they could just serve Bud Light and get away with it. So I'm really happy they make an effort to support local. There's a big parking lot and tons of street parking all around the area if you're willing to walk a little. I'm not even a sports fan but hockey, beer and food go really well together. read more

The bag policy it RIDICULOUS and DISCRIMINATORY. An 8" x 5" bag is all you are allowed in unless it is a clear bag!!! Clear bags are an invasion of privacy! They don't have clear bags to purchase so if you have tickets to an event you are screwed! TCC is a crap venue! read more

I attended a Tucson Roadrunners hockey game at the TCC Arena last night. It was fun, though a bit loud.

The staff that work the ticket booth area are rude. They are so quick to make the customer feel like they are in the wrong when it was the staff that made the mistake for the u of a hockey game on 2/24. When handing out tickets to students you may want to triple check that you are handing out tickets with the correct date on them. Then maybe not accuse the student a "liar". Not only this but the security that works inside watching like birds over fans because they believe we are the bad guys. Accusing students of drinking even though a wrist band was shown and ID's to prove our age. Get better staff and educate them on what customer service is. read more

Went to the Ghost, Mastadon, and Spiritbox show on Aug 27th. The doors were supposed to open at 6 but didn't open until about 7, leaving a huge line of people to sweat and suffer. Regardless of them opening the doors an hour late, Spirit box went on at 7 and got to play to possibly 5% of the people who paid to see them. Of course we weren't offered any kind of refund. ALSO, security did not let ANY KIND OF CHAIN through the doors. I had literally 5 links of tiny flimsy chain connected to a leather bracelet, and I was not allowed to have it in. They even instructed me to tuck in my tiny short necklace chain. !!CHAINS ARE NOT LISTED ON THE PROHIBITED ITEMS LIST on their website! It's also not listed on the sign right next to the metal detectors. Normally it wouldn't have been too big of a deal to take 15 minutes to walk to the hotel and back but we had already missed the first band because of their screw up. Just because we're santanic rockers doesn't mean we're all going to turn the whole place into a mosh pit. (Which there was not one btw) Not only that, but my husband had a somewhat bulky ghost jacket that they didn't bother checking or putting through the metal detector. Apparently possible hidden weapons isn't as much of a threat compared to cheap chain jewelry. Also the merch line was a huge joke. The venue is not big enough to have the small entry way filled with people trying to get merch. The line snaked around filling up the entire area. We had to ditch the line just to be able to enjoy the bands we paid to see. They would have made way more money if they had opened on time. This place is obviously very poorly managed. Too bad cause it has a good location and potential. read more

The venue is nice but it is very uncomfortable to sit in the chairs.They are extremely too close together and not wide enough.Seems like the chairs are made for someone in size 6 hips.It's sad that they just crammed these chairs in to sell more seats.The leg room is ridiculous as well because there isn't any. read more

Clean, medium size auditorium type of convention center. The hockey games are hilarious. You basically go to watch hockey but end really just watching the crowd fight amongst each other. We also went here to watch OVO recently. It was a great show. The setup is a bit odd when you walk in and they could definitely use better ac in the lobby/gift shop area. However once you are actually inside the ac is great, the restrooms are clean and they do have a decent selection of food. Water bottles are insanely expensive at $3.50 a piece but I wouldn't expect any less at these events. My family and I will continue to attend events here in the future. If I could recommend any changes regarding the food they sell I wish they would have some allergy friendly options even if it is just fresh fruit and salads, hummus, icees , etc. Even the popcorn has a soybean oil. Moving on.. Parking is easy on weekends because street parking is free. Beware if you are using their lots it is $10 per vehicle. Not cheap at all. OVO was a great show, I just wish it was as spectacular as the Cirque shows in Vegas. OVO in my opinion did not compare to KA in Vegas. I wish we had seen OVO then KA , but it was still a great show with many talented acrobats and it was a great experience for my boys to get out and get a bit of culture in this small city. read more
