Our 8' tall Howard Miller grandfather clock is priceless to us (most all grandfather clock owners probably feel this same way) and during our recent move from Southern California to Saddlebrooke, AZ there were several issues that arose and each required a real pro to address. We found Steve Fornelius, The Tucson Clock Doctor, on the Howard Miller website and are so thankful we did.
Steve did a simply wonderful job of carefully rebuilding, tuning and setting up our clock. He had to take the movement to his shop for a week but brought it back exactly when promised. It went away tarnished from sea air, dull and pretty dirty too and came back spotlessly clean and shiny. Less than a hour later it was working perfectly and never sounding so good. Plus we learned several very helpful tips that we wish we'd known years ago.
