I had to have jaw surgery and my husband went to pick up my prescriptions two days before, which was a Saturday and they are closed on Sunday. The liquid anti-biotic prescribed had to be kept refrigerated and he wasn't told about it, so it got left out went bad (I do admit I should have checked the bag). However, I have also always been told by other pharmacies. I did call on Sunday and there was a number to leave a message for urgent matters, which I did. I figured at the latest I would get a text or call Monday. They never followed up. I would not care too much if it was not something major, but surgery is pretty important. I am not trying to be cruel or hurt their business, but I hope they see this and change how they handle certain things, because it was very badly done, and the last thing I want to worry about right now is chasing down medicine I need that I should have had.

Overall, Kroger has a wide breadth of selection/choice and while their prices are roughly 3% higher than Walmart - I don't feel dirty shopping in Kroger like I feel when I shop in Walmart. Plus, they're way cheaper than Whole Foods and Publix. Produce is produce in my book. And chicken is chicken.

They do their best to have your medical done in a reasonable amount of time and the workers are very friendly. I got tired of being treated like just another number by CVS,Walgreens,& Kroger pharmacies and have been very happy with the service at The Dickson Apothecary. They told me one prescription would take awhile and I went to gran some breakfast about 20 minutes and when I came back the lady said she knew I needed to get home and lay down so she moved me to the front of the line. There was a long line and I knew I was going septic so I walked up to the pharmacy desk to see how long it would be. Everybody on line could see that I was near passing out but the Pharmacist told me he didn't have time to answer questions and that I needed to get in the back of the line. Even the other customers were mad at the way I was treated whrn they could see I was in a bad way. I finally left went across the highway to the Horizon Emergency Room and was admitted immediately to the hospital and was there for more than 2 weeks.
