Jason and Brent go above and beyond! FAST! We just got a home in Alafaya and had been living here…read moreabout a month and a half, and we were coming back from Lowes, right down the road, with a Shop Vac we just bought to drain the AC... Well when we got in wouldn't you know it there was a new SHOWER in our downstairs guest bathroom from a flooding AC up above! (We had workers putting in a floor and we forgot to turn off the AC so the coil was totally jammed with wood chips and all kinds of debris!) I called DC/AC and problem solved quickly! They cleaned the coils for a very affordable price and our Carrier now runs way better than when we moved in! We will definitely be using the DCAC team when this one kicks the bucket - though I have an intuition with them on my side that will be many many moons!

Things went good until last year or so. Parts were constantly going down and needing repaired. Contract was due 10/16/2026. I called and asked why I had not received the bill for my renewal. No response. Two days later I called again and no response until late in the day. I was told I would get no renewal because there had been too many repairs last year. NOT MY FAULT!! Okay. This was also after their technician backed into my car in my driveway when all he had to do was back straight out. He begged me not to tell his boss. I felt bad for him and took an estimate from Joe instead of going to my insurance company. When technician came back he drove straight through my front yard over my irrigation lines when they are suppose to park on the street. Lesson learned for me but never again. We had a full HVAC upgrade and replaced the condenser, cooling unit, vent plates, and duct work. The team started in the morning around 9am or so and finished at about 6pm - for all of the work they had to do and having to access the cooling unit in a tight space in the attic, they accomplished a lot in a day's work. So far, we're very happy with the results and love the parts and service warranty they provide. Everyone was very kind and professional. Highly recommend.

My AC unit stopped working on Saturday. I'd used Frank Gay before and had their maintenance plan,…read moreso I called them. To Frank Gay's credit, they came out quickly and determined that the capacitor had blown. I was relieved because it was an older unit. However, the service tech insisted that my machine needed to be replaced. He said it was in critical condition and showed me the readout. He said it was over-amping and wouldn't last two months. Fortunately, they had a "special" going on for new units. Sounded like a sales pitch so I took a picture of the readout he showed me and uploaded it to ChatGPT. It said not to trust those numbers because they were way off and it looked like the probes were reversed. ChatGPT encouraged me to call someone else. So I did. Chilly Billy's came out today - two days later. The AC guy was named Nas - very easy to talk to and smart. He ran the same tests and determined that while my unit is pretty old - it's working fine. The numbers were well within manufacturer guidelines. They said they would not recommend replacing the unit. So, I learned I can't trust Frank Gay. I cancelled my maintenance membership and found a new HVAC company in Chilly Billy. I'm uploading the photos. One is Frank Gay. The other is Chilly Billy two days later. Trust is a big deal.
