I needed to update professional headshots and got the package with makeup (well-worth it and a must-have I think) with Janelle as the make-up artist and Samantha as the photographer- a superstar team. Samantha was excellent, experienced, fast, and knew exactly what would look good on camera and captured everything I could ask for. Janelle did amazing makeup and was exceptional, making me feel very comfortable and listening closely to what I was hoping for and helped a lot with optimal styling of hair, makeup, etc. This is my third time to return to City Headshots...with the first two times working with Martin about 10 years ago. They have been really excellent all three times, and I would definitely go back again. The booking process and early communications are automated and streamlined. The experience in person is very tailored and personalized and the studio space in Midtown is easy to get to and has a nice comfortable waiting room. She set up both the bride and groom suites and made sure every detail was taken care of before we even realized we needed something. She did not stop moving the entire day - constantly checking in, making sure everyone had what they needed, and keeping everything running smoothly. There were so many pivotal moments where she stepped in without hesitation. She made sure my wedding dress got safely to the bridal suite, brought my husband's tux to his changing room, and handled so many incredibly important logistics that would have been stressful for anyone else to manage.
