Authentic Chinese restaurant in Madrid. The location is so close to Gran Via…read more My table had mixed thoughts of this place. Some dishes were good, others weren't quite as good. I guess it's hit or miss. Sangria was good. We got the pitcher for the table. Cold dishes- Cucumber | pepino €7.50 - The flavor was ok, but the cucumbers were too soggy for my preference. This was the worst dish of the night for us :( I really was hoping for something refreshing to kick the spiciness of everything else. Banban chicken | pollo €8,90 - This dish was ok to me. The flavor was mid, very oily. The knife technique here was impressive. Duck | pato yuxiang €13,90 - This dish was very good, very fragrant. The duck was crisped and cut so well. Fish | olla pez €29,50 - The fish was good. It came with lotus root, bean sprouts, a few cauliflower, and a shit ton of potato slices. The cucumber slices in there were so soggy, which I did not like. Wontons in chili oil | wantan picante €9,90 - The wontons were not good!! The chili oil sauce was ok, but the wontons were such a disappointment. The skin was too slimy, and there was no flavor inside the wonton. Beef noodle soup | sopa ternera €12,90 - We asked for very spicy and we got it. As soon as I inhaled, I choked. The noodles were very soft. The beef was meh. They added some pickled veggies Rice was €2,20 per person. Credit card accepted.

First off, the techno- elevator music was very irritating. This was the worst meal we had in Spain…read more The Kung Pao chicken was terribly sweet and the beef chow mein was so salty! Next door is a good Chinese restaurant called Dragon.... go there

Not your traditional style of Chinese food but absolutely fantastic!…read more We came here on a Wednesday night around 8:30 without a reservation and it wasn't busy at all. I realize we were way early for dinner since they are open till midnight but we we're hungry. The staff speaks mainly mandarin and Spanish but they are a gem! The gentleman who helped us was great. He was sweet and made great recommendations. Hope you get him to when you go. For food we ordered: Xiaolongbao relleno de carne, setas y foie (Xiaolongbao filled with mushrooms and foie) - these were yummy but just ok. If you've eaten a lot of XLB you'll understand. They were small and the skin was thin but not the right amount of thin in the right places. It was too thin on the bottom so they were already broken when they came out. There also wasn't much juice inside. The vinegar sauce is local and not as tangy as other vinegars but very good. Arroz frito Shanghai Mama Receta tradicional (Shanghai Mama fried rice with tradicional recipe) - MUST order this. It has great wok hey and the taste is so unique. It has great seasoning and they did not skimp on the ingredients. Every bite was yummy. Pato Shanghai Mama crujiente en salsa de almendras (Shanghai Mama style crispy duck in amand sauce) - also a favorite! We were surprised at this dish but MUST GET. It was cooked perfectly. The flavors were intense but not over whelming. The duck was almost like Peking style with the crispy skin and fat but it was sliced and topped with almonds and sauce. Great with the fried rice. At the end of the meal they served us peanuts that were roasted in something sweet. Perfect way to end the meal. I realize this place is a chain but the food is so delicious and unique. If you're craving Chinese food I'd give this a go!

Missing trading cards - NO Zen support - Agents DON'T care - situation still not resolved!!…read more I don't normally go out of my way to write a bad review, however, my experience with Zen has been very poor and i am deeply unsatisfied by the lack of help and support regarding an issue over my Trading cards going missing. The agents don't listen and often copy & paste the same response, its so poor. They have also ignored my request for my case to be escalated to management and each agent contradict each other. On the 10th January, my parcel stopped tracking. I gave it several days then contacting Zen, explaining the above. There agent told me to contact UK Royal Mail and report it (which i did), and that Zen would also contact JapanPost in another couple of weeks, as they have to wait a bit longer. I waited, heard nothing so reached out to them as it had now been 4 weeks, after i complained i was told by an agent called MIA they would now contact JapanPost and start an investigation to try and track down my missing parcel. Mia "We appreciate that you have taken action to launch a claim with Royal Mail. We have forwarded the issue to our team and we have contacted Japan Post to launch an investigation." So yesterday after another 3 weeks since Mia replied, I've had no update, no contact from Zenmarket whatsoever, so i reached out to them AGAIN asking for an update, if they had heard anything from JapanPost etc and that I'm not happy my the lack of support and i would like my situation to be escalated to management. An agent called ASMA replied, basically ignored everything i asked, ignored my requests and it was clear she didn't properly read my message. Asma reply: "Unfortunately, ZenMarket is unable to expedite the process nor inquire the status of your parcel from our side. We ask that you contact your local post office Royal Mail directly regarding the whereabouts of your parcel. (I've told them i already done this) If it has not reached your destination after 60 days since the day of shipment, please contact us again and we will initiate an investigation for compensation." This is completely different to what Mia said 3 weeks earlier, i had already told MIA 3 weeks ago i had contacted royal mail, where was the investigation? Zen agent Asma didn't even check to see what Mia the previous agent had said, which was they were apparently doing an investigation (JapanPost) 3 weeks earlier. Asma, just copied and pasted from 6 weeks ago. This level of support is horrendous, i will be taking this further and spreading the word about these cowboys.

This is a beautiful restaurant right in the Real Madrid football stadium. Lush greens, totally zen…read more Menu is varied with lots of dishes to choose from: Thai, Chinese, Japanese. We ordered top quality nigiri sushis (the butterfish/halibut with truffle was yummy), some uramaki, the ceviche was good, and we had teriyaki chicken and Pad Thai (it wasn't an authentic Pad Thai but it was delicious either way). Loved the place, the ambience and the food was more than satisfactory!
