Craving for some boba and we found this place while walking and we got no regret. They loved it!! This kids are hard to please so if they like it that means it's good. Lol. Service is great. They got the drinks in a timely manner. Happy customers.

Lakeview East location for fun bubble tea chain. On the corner of Broadway, this location took over where tea ninja used to be. It's going through a soft opening so you may find a deal. The insides are quaint and you'll find all the standard flavors like jasmine and taro. They use a non dairy creamer, so if you have problems it's nice to have an option. The staff are friendly and the service is quick.

Relatively new chain on Broadway. They had a soft opening a few weeks back but they already updated their interior and held a grand opening with a BOGO drink special. The drinks I've had were all great and many dietary options. I haven't had their food quite yet, but I was a couple feasting on a couple of dishes and they looked great. Service was fast and ordering was easy with multiple touch screen POS displays. Def recommend

This place is a great option if you want to have a boba iced tea! This tea store has a wide selection of teas - from milk teas to fruit teas and tea slushes. They also offer multiple desserts on the menu. I have visited this place three times, and my absolute favorite drink is the Watermelon Green Tea Slush with Peach Boba (I had it twice) or Honey Aloe (tried it once). I ordered this drink for the first time as an experiment, and I absolutely loved it. Now, I am a big fan of this drink and will keep ordering it over and over. Once, I brought my friend to this tea store, and he decided to order Peach Black Tea with Peach Boba. He loved his drink a lot. I tried a little bit of it and liked it too. Also, once I decided to order the Earl Grey Crepe Cake, and I liked its taste a lot! The only issue was that it was completely frozen, so I couldn't eat it right away. I waited for about 10 minutes, letting it thaw slightly, but it didn't soften even a little bit. So, I went to the staff and asked them to put the cake into a microwave to thaw it, which they did for about 2 minutes, but the crepe cake still didn't thaw well. I believe that this crepe cake is more of a take-away option, to eat later after letting it thaw. The prices on the menu are very reasonable. For example, the Watermelon Green Tea Slush with Boba costs $6.90, and the Crepe Cake costs $5. The tea store's location is great. It is on Broadway Street in the heart of Boystown, Chicago. It's also close to the Lake Michigan waterfront, perfect for grabbing a cold drink while enjoying some activities in the park near the lake. The tea store is remodeled and ideally clean. I like its cute design a lot, especially the wall decorated with toys. I like that you can place an order through a machine (there are three of them), which helps avoid long lines. You can also make an online order and just pick it up. The staff who works in the tea store is very hardworking, as they start preparing orders right away as soon as they receive them. I also appreciate that multiple people work there at the same time. However, I wish these employees were more friendly, as they don't seem eager to engage in extra conversation or even offer a smile. Plus, not all of them speak English. For example, when I had the issue with my frozen cake, one guy had to translate for another guy to understand my request. I absolutely recommend checking this place out if you are looking for an iced tea.

I'm a huge fan of Tsaocaa Chinatown and Lincoln park! So when I saw that there's another location in Chicago, I had to show my support! I always do a rotation of fruit tea or jasmine green milk tea. Today, I ordered my standard jasmine green milk tea and bubble waffle. My friend ordered the iced muscat grape green tea and pork sung bubble waffle. The taste is similar to all the other locations! I did have an issue with the flavor of my milk tea but they corrected it when I mention it to the staff member. So they're very attentive to the customers request! The inside is very bright and cute. They have a plushie wall which is great for photos. They also have a cute painting wall which I used for the photo!

Tsaocaa is one of my favorite boba places in Indiana, so I was excited to see open in Lakeview East! I got a oreo waffle, which was super warm, sweet, and crunchy! I also got a ruby milk tea, but it was a bit watery.

It's all about balance and moderation when it comes to my meals. I've not been a fan of fake chicken breast because it never tastes right. I'm was really blown away by Skinny Butcher Crazy Crispy Chick'n! These chicken sandwiches really taste like chicken. The breading on the outside is crispy and the sandwich bite is fantastic. I'm truly amazed at how fantastic these plant based chicken sandwiches tasted. We ordered the Original Chick' Sandwich, Buffalo Chick'n Sandwich and the Chick'n Parm Sandwich. All of the sandwiches came on a potato roll. Which is honestly the best roll ever made. It's soft and absorbs all of the flavors. It's the perfect bun for any sandwich. The Original Chick' Sandwich comes with a mayo sauce and pickles. The Buffalo Chick'n Sandwich has a mayo based blue cheese sauce plus pickles. The buffalo sauce is really tasty with just the right amount of kick. This sandwich was definitely my favorite. I truly loved the spicy kick. I thought I was eating a real chicken sandwich. I also needed to try the Chick'n Parm Sandwich. Hey I'm Sicilian! Let's put this place to the rest. It was fried golden brown and topped with marinara sauce, oregano, fresh basil and melted mozzarella, provolone & parmesan cheeses. My Nonna would have thought this was a fresh real chicken breast. I highly recommend all of the plant based sandwiches here. They also have waffle fries! It's been since forever since I had waffle fries. I loved how tasty they were. It reminded me of being a kid. I'm not an expert when it comes to plant based food. I just want my food to taste good and not be filled with chemicals. They advertise that the plants used in this chicken are pea based and not soy based. That seems really important but I'm too lazy to search my web browser for more info. If you know the answer sent me a message. I'd love to know. Yes I'm giving you homeowner to do in my review. It's all about interacting on Yelp. This location is very unique. It is a ghost kitchen located in a Wow Bao on Clark and Diversey. You can order through Grub Hub or Uber Eats for delivery or pickup. I decided to pick it up because I didn't want my chicken sandwiches getting soggy, as they toured all of Chicago on their way to my house. Pick up was super easy. When I walked into Wow Bao I told the guy I was here for my plant based chicken sandwiches. He chuckled and immediately knew who I was. He then asked for a few minutes, as the chef in back finished building them. Plant based food is not a replacement for real meat. It's meant to help feed our planets growing population. If it can lesson the footprint, then I'm all for it. I really don't miss the meat at all, especially when it tastes this good. So if you're looking to go meatless, then this is your place. The sandwiches are solid and I highly recommend you try the Skinny Butcher because his chicken is crazy good.

It's more playful than serious and definitely gives the place its own character. I also thought it was cool how they give out free dogs after Bears wins. The fries were super saggy and limp, like they been sitting in old grease for hours. Tasted like cardboard soaked in week-old oil. The hot dogs? Forget it. Way over-salted, tasted like they dumped the entire salt shaker on them. The buns were spongy and smashed all over the place, looked like someone sat on them before serving. Everything was just sloppy and gross. Service was terrible too. The guy at the counter acted like I was annoying him by ordering food, no smile, no "thank you," just threw my bag at me. Apparently, they are cash only but I think they have an ATM on-site. If not, I would just order online through GrubHub, it doesn't change wait time or anything. I ordered a Double Cheeseburger with fries and soda. The service was fast and the prices were great. Now if you asked if the quality matched, I would say absolutely. The smash burger had the right amount of sauce, perfect char, wasn't cold on the inside. The fries are fresh cut from potatoes in the back, and you can really tell during presentation. I would next time see if I could try their cheese fries as they have that upgrade option as well. My go to order is the Italian Combo with a gyro platter to snack on the sliced meat and fries. My 2nd fav order is the Big Daddy burger (tsaiziki and bbq on the side) and a Maxwell Street Polish giving you a bit of everything Chicago. Usually places evolve to the changing wants of the neighborhood, but they sell Greek and Italian equally well.
