This is a really beautiful and well-envisioned terminal that I've happy to have experienced (Delta from Atlanta gates here) during my most recent NYC trip. Surprising, really as most airports I've passed through tend to be very run-down (I guess I would be too if I had millions of visitors coming through). This terminal is spacious with plenty of natural light windows with views of the airfields and tarmacs. I love the choice of seating and the frequent use of bent woods for chaise and other "lounge-around" seats. There's also an abundance of outlets for mobile charging and plenty of handy restrooms. There are plenty of directional maps so you know where you are and can figure out where you need to go. The "lobby" area is multi-floored with an open atrium, huge pendant sculptures draw the eye as does the glass elevator. Overall one of the best experiences I've had. I only wish that the airlines would give up the ridiculous "zone" seating preferences - the crowding around the gates make a pleasant location turn into a CF.

The terminal is ok, nothing fancy. The annoying part of Newark Liberty is trying to get over to the rental car center while everything is under construction. Hopefully someday the construction will be done, and you can get straight to the rental car center, without having to take a sky tram, get dropped off, walk outside in 102 heat, then go inside down a narrow corridor that 2 people can't fit in, then follow the yellow brick road to escalators that don't work, to then try and find stairs or an elevator, to get to another level and then you finally arrive at the rental car center. Apart from the hassle to get to the rental car center, the airport itself was pretty convenient and easy, and you also get a view of NYC from the window. Enjoy the photos.

Terminal B at Newark Liberty International airport, specifically Gates B40 thru B49 has got to be…read moreconsistently one of the worst experiences for travelers There are limited food options - all overpriced - Firehouse Subs, Starbucks, Tony's Pizza, and Malones Fish Market to choose from - be prepared to spend way too much for subpar food There typically is no air conditioning -- they rely on fans during hot & humid summer days The TSA staff is generally rude from my experience flying thru Newark specifically Terminal B This behavior is unnecessary and unprofessional - though I suppose considering these folks live in Newark New Jersey that helps explain things There are not good options for charging electronic devices and from my experience flights have been delayed and / or cancelled more frequently than any other airport I've experienced Perhaps this can all be chalked up to bad luck for me personally but I will plan on flying United in the future and avoid Alaska airlines out of Newark at all costs just to avoid ever sitting at these gates in B terminal in the future

This review is based strictly on my experience with concourse C. Concourse C was bustling but was clean and well maintained. The restrooms, especially, were very clean. Both our arriving and departure flights were from concourse C. Other than a minor gate change, everything else was fine.

That way you will not have to go out of the airport and back through security. However, if you do decide to walk, you will have to revisit security again. It is quite a walk as well. United Airlines Airlines has paperwork to fill out for service dogs. I did this nearly a month…read morebefore we were to fly. I thought everything was good but when we were coming back from New York on an Honor Flight for veterans who were all also first responders for the anniversary of 9/11, having my service dog was like having a plague. we tried to ask at the check-in desk about a ticket of where I could sit with my service dog who does not fit under the seat seats. They stated that I needed to ask somebody at the gate once they came. We were at the gate for nearly 2 1/2 hours. One of the attendance showed up 30 minutes before the flight and I asked him about where I should sit with my dog as I have been informed that the previous flight they had put me in the wrong seating. I was told that the dog had to be able to go under the seats or sit in my lap. My dog is a 67 pound Doberman. When the gate attendant finally got to us 20 minutes before the flight I was told I was stuck with my seat and that I should have asked the check-in desk to move me if it was not adequate. This was also told to the director of our group who had given them the paperwork a month prior as well as the paperwork I filled out for the airlines. When I boarded the plane it was unable to get him in my lap as I was nervous which made my dog nervous as well. The flight attendant was unhappy with me and I ended up in the back of the plane crying and he didn't say a word about this. I believe I was being ready to be left behind from my group as there was no open seats in which my dog could sit and they were not allow him to sit in the aisle. Because we had been sitting at the terminal for so long, many of the other people on the plane knew why our group was there. Three people up in first class offered to give up their seats for me. This was not unit asking but people actually volunteering. Definitely will never fly United again if I have a choice. It seems that there's no actual, "here's what we do" on United Airlines flights. I was told on the first flight that I was in the wrong seating and should've been moved accordingly with my dog. The next flight I was told that that was untrue.
