We arrived at Gate B and had to walk to Gate C. It took us about 10 mins or so. Never understimate your walk time. So many eateries, shops, vending machines, and slot machines along the walkways from gate to gate. I saw Little Tony's Pizzeria, Pei Wei, Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs, Kylie's Cosmetics (vending), Hudson News, Fresh Attractions, Evolve, Cocoran's Irish Pub, and more. It is very enticing to stop and grab a quick bite, shop for souvenirs, and play for fun. If you have more time, then go for it. If time isn't on your side and you must get to your next flight, then resist the urge. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. Waiting area were well maintained. Walkways were swept and litter free. A few key highlights below:…read more [Cons] * Travelers need to take a tram to get from Terminal 1 / Terminal 3 to concourse D. * Travelers need to take a shuttle bus to get from airport to/from the offsite Rent-A-Car Center. The Rental Car Shuttle stop is located outside Doors 10 and 11 for Terminal 1 and Door 51 for Terminal 3. There was a waiting to hop onto shuttle buses to the Rent-A-Car Center and the wait was approximately 15 minutes. Upon Returning to the airport, travelers must hop onto the right shuttle buses at the Rent-A-Car Center as one shuttle bus takes to Terminal 1 and another bus takes to Terminal 3. * Subpar food option at Concourse D. The only decent option I spotted was Dave's Hot Chicken. * There are shuttle buses that transport travelers between airport's two terminals. Shuttles run approximately every 20-30 minutes. * Travelers can also utilize The Vegas Loop (owned by The Boring Company - opened in December 2025) to get to/from the Strip and are required to purchase tickets online. The pick-up areas at Airport T1 and T3 stations are located on Level Zero (ground transportation and shuttle), but the curb is unmarked and has no signage. [Pros] * The only perk at Concourse D is airport lounges which make the overall experience tolerable, but visitors will need to arrive to airport at least 1+ hour early at the airport gate to maximize the lounge experience here. * Very short TSA wait time on Saturday late afternoon (less than 5 minutes). * The airport allows pick-up and drop-off for Zoox (a ride service using special fully autonomous & all-electric vehicles). The Zoox Pick-up Zone is located at Level Zero / E Gates at Terminal 1 and Level Zero / Door 55 at Terminal 3. [Terminals] Airlines at Terminal 3 - Aer Lingus, AeroMexico, Air Canada, Air France, Alaska, Avianca, Breeze, British Airways, Condor, Contour, Copa Airlines, Discover, Edelweiss, Flair, Frontier, Hawaiian, JetBlue, KLM, Korean Air, Porter United, Virgin Atlantic, Viva Aerobus, Volaris, WestJet Airlines at Terminal 1 - Advanced Air, Allegiant American, Delta, Southwest, Sun Country [Conclusion]: Despite the airport offers new alternative ridesharing options to get to the Strip, this airport is still not the most convenient airport to navigate. It is a shame that the Las Vegas Monorail doesn't extend all the way from the Strip to the airport and forces travelers to seek alternative transportation mainly by car.

Everyone was pretty nice here and the airport was really clean--even the restroom. There wasn't a long line for the ladies room like most other airports, or maybe I was just lucky! They have slots inside the airport, and yes you can win money on them. I played $20 before boarding my flight and I won $76--so try your luck.

If you are a Cap 1 Venture X cardholder, you already have access to this lounge, hwoever Venture card holders can also pay to enter. Guests are also welcome, for an additional fee, of course. Once inside, everything is complimentary aside from premium alcohol options. The food options were good. I enjoyed the sweet treats section. The savory options were a bit scarce when I walked in, but it wasn't overly busy. They were accepting walk-ins when I visited, which was great. I've heard other locations can have a waitlist lasting hours. I did not enjoy any beverages, but they offered a full bar and a very nice speciality menu, including NA options. On the way out, you can grab some of the to-go options, including sandwiches, cookies, water, coffee, tea, etc. My experience here was great. If I'm traveling through LAS, I would certainly visit again.

Once we arrived at Gate C, it was supposed to be boarding time. However, nothing was happening. Ten minutes past. Another ten minutes went by. Then it hit 30 minutes after when they started boarding passengers. During the entire 30 mins, there was no communication from Southwest as to what was happening, why the boarding was delayed, no update whatsoever. I still don't know what happened till this day. Check-in staff was cordial and got everyone in swiftly. Once all passengers boarded, we were set to take off after a few checks were in place. Staff onboard were friendly and helpful. I appreciate the help with the carry on baggage. Thank you! Shortly after take off, they passed out the Stellar Maui Monk snack. Wow, amazingly tasty pretzels! Stellar indeed. Of course, the usual drink offer took place as well. I love flying Southwest for their low fares, locations, and friendly staff! I will continue to fly with them. Plenty of seating and space to spread out, including a phone room and a computer room - phones and computers not included. There were a variety of seatinf times so probably easy to find a cushion or height suitable for your comfort. There are also a few shower stalls. The space was generally quiet with the exception of small conversations and the clinking of dishes. I found the temp to be cool so I put on my jacket. It probably is the right level of coolness for when it gets crowded. The food selection was also probably a 3 - I was here for the breakfast/lunch setup. The menu included eggs n potatoes, chicken sliders, sausage, a salad bar, 2 soups, oatmeal cookies, a dessert and pita bread. I think a charcuterie tray would have been a good fit for the menu. At some point, someone came around to pass out popcorn. There is a full bar, a coffe and tea station and infused water, so plenty to sip on.

While I have flown Southwest Airlines every now and then, I usually fly American Airlines into Las Vegas. In both cases, I fly into Terminal 1. I appreciate how easily I could navigate between terminals, gates, and baggage claim. Everything is certainly well connected. After all, one of the slogans of the Harry Reid International Airport is "Your Gateway to Everything." Unlike friends who absolutely hate flying, I enjoy the travel experience, especially when using some helpful tools like CLEAR, Global Entry/TSA Pre-Check, airport lounge membership, and airline status, most of which I was able to enjoy during my LAS visits. When checking in, I was able to skip the check-in area if I didn't need to check bags (as I checked in online) on one of my trips, and then this most recent time, I checked in at the priority area for assistance and checking bags. I then went to the Terminal 1 check-in and used Global Entry and CLEAR to skip most of the line at Security while keeping my shoes on (thanks to an American Express Platinum card which comes with credits for both). When I arrive to the security checkpoint, I walk towards the TSA Pre-check line and see the CLEAR check-in to the right. After scanning my eyes and getting checked in with CLEAR, they direct me to follow the handrail towards the TSA Pre-check area and to turn left with the handrail. There was a CLEAR representative there who confirmed my name and then opened a new line for me to walk right to the front. Another representative of CLEAR checked my name and then cut me into the front of the TSA Pre-check lane so that I could keep my shoes on and go through with TSA Pre-check. It was very check and easy to go through the security checkpoint even when it was moderately busy in the airport in the late morning on a weekday. I'll gladly try this approach with security at Las Vegas again in the future!

The line was pretty minimal for a early morning flight, boarding at 7:00 A.M! The team at the TSA Checkpoint are always helpful and friendly! I normally fly either Southwest or JetBlue and usually always have a great experience at the Las Vegas Airport, which is my home Airport! The line for the normal TSA wasn't that long on a Wednesday morning in April. It looked to be approximately a 30 minute wait. Sometimes it can get relatively busy when flying out of Las Vegas if there is a big show or event in town!

All United gates have their similar set ups with the numbered positions, with luck you'll be either 1, 2 or 3, after that pray to your gods that you get over head space. ;)
