The brewery is very classic home town brewery. They have a root beer beer that is amazing. The watermelon cider tastes like a jolly rancher. What is so amazing about the brewery is that they have a potluck on Thanksgiving. Very quick and efficient service. They have outdoor seating and are dog friendly.

Interesting craft beer menu but what really stood out to me was the Paleta Shooter! Tequila topped with a watermelon cider, Chamoy & Tejin with lime! Absolutely incredible

Wonderful beer selection and great service. La Bête, a limited edition beer, was spectacular.

Very friendly bartender who was very informed and gave great service. It was a relaxing evening with not many folks in town, but we enjoyed ourselves. I liked the blood orange and the watermelon cider.

Great menu of on tap beers! The green chili amber and Winterbock were especially good. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors with a small stage area in the back. Service at the bar is fast and friendly.

June 3, 2023 - Truth or Consequences Brewing Company, NM) We arrived at Truth or Consequences Brewery after a one hour soak at the Riverbend mineral Springs. We were hoping for a Beer and some lunch. There was only one other couple sitting at the bar when we arrived a little after noon. We called ahead to see if it would be OK to bring our dog with us. The guy said it would be fine and that the dog could actually come indoors as long as he was well behaved. Our server's name was Lee. He was a very friendly and engaging guy in his early 20s I'm imagining. He got us lined up with a pint of the Buckhorn West Coast IPA for me and a flight of ciders and beer for my wife. We had hoped to get a bite to eat while we're here, but apparently the food part of their operation wasn't happening when we showed up. Lee was an international studies major and told us about his upcoming trip to Osaka, Japan. As part of my wife's drink flight, we got to try the Mothership double IPA and the Big Bang triple IPA. Everything was tasty. We bought a crowler of lavender cider for my wife and some brewery stickers and a brewery hat for me. They do have regular occurrences of live music.

Very dog friendly, great beer, art, music, service. If you drive past TOC on I-25 without stopping... Shame on you!

Great ambiance, great beer and good service. Buddy was really helpful and took good care of our group. There is a cute patio outside where you can enjoy the sun, weather (yesterday was beautiful) and order food from an off site restaurant. My friends ordered the blood Orange cider and they loved it. I had a blonde ale and it was good. Our overall experience was quite positive.

This is a nice little locals bar. I wouldn't recommend it for anything else but a drink. It's basic and open when it says it is.

The Christmas Ale was sold out, but I enjoyed the roasted Green Chile Amber just as well.

After wandering around the enchanting plaza from the Spanish colonial period, with its very informative displays of local political history (on the north side) and local military history and tributes to fallen heroes (on the south side) we popped our heads into Baca House Brewery but were told they weren't serving alcohol that day, so we went to Box Canyon Brewing and asked if they were dog friendly. Their answer was "if your dog is friendly, we are dog friendly." So we say down and ordered a pint, and several customers came over to pet our then-6 month old husky mix pup. We each ordered a sandwich (I don't remember the specifics) and got a plain unseasoned hot dog without a roll for the doggo. The staff was very pleasant, and the customers were friendly and chatty. They had some very funny signs on the walls that made my wife and me laugh. We will happily return when staying overnight or passing through Socorro again.

We passed through Socorro during a long day on the road after visiting my father south of Tucson…read more We stopped in to Capitol rather than one of the other two breweries on the plaza to get a stamp in our Hop Passport. A very pleasant bartender seated my wife, our young puppy, and me on their very nice patio, and brought the pup a bowl of water without being asked, which we always appreciate. I ordered an IPA and my wife got a stout, as February is stout month at craft breweries all around the country. Both of us thought our beers were delicious and well balanced. To our surprise, there were ashtrays on several of the tables on the patio, and a man was smoking a cigar a few tables from us (smoking is banned inside and out at all business establishments in Colorado). The piped-in music was rather eclectic - everything from 70s classic rock to Shakira to modern auto-tuned pop. We had just had lunch in Hatch, so did not try the food. We have decided that we will spend the night in Socorro on an upcoming trip to see my dad, as the town looks like a lot of fun and we really want to try the other local brewpubs.

I got a flight of beers: the Green Chile Lager actually had quite a spicy kick (definitely an acquired taste). My favorite was the 49er's Oktoberfest Lager. The Hoppenheimer was a strong IPA with a 9.3% ABV, and the Ladrones Mexican Lager was crisp and refreshing. For food, I tried the Socorro Dog ($11). It's supposed to have bacon, but I couldn't really see or taste any. I liked the combo of shredded Gouda, green chile, tomato relish, and beer mustard. The poppy seed bun was also a nice touch. We also shared a 12 inch Supreme Pizza ($14.50) with olives, sausage, green chile, mushrooms, and pepperoni. I liked the thin crust. I also ordered the Birds of a Feather cocktail ($13) which had dark aged rum, Aperol, pineapple juice, lime, and simple syrup. I asked for a splash of Prosecco to make it sparkling, and it was indeed refreshing. They also have a pool table ($1 per rack) and a dog-friendly outdoor patio, which I always like to see. There's also plenty of board games to borrow. The only downside was that the bathrooms could use a little cleaning and updating. Overall though, this was a solid spot with good drinks and a chill vibe.
