The brewery is a fantastic place. The architecture of the building is very cool, they always play good music, the beer is very good also. They always have live music going and the people of TorC are great folks. This is one of the "Must visit" places in TorC. read more

This is a nice little locals bar. I wouldn't recommend it for anything else but a drink. It's basic and open when it says it is.

There wasn't much open in Truth or consequences when we went over the holidays, but this place was open almost everyday. And luckily we loved all the beers there! There's no food but you can bring in food from anywhere else in town. There was some good musical acts when we were there as well. Dog friendly both inside and outside. read more

The unfortunate - no food truck on Saturday, July 5th. Which isn't a big deal, but I would have liked to stay a little longer and not have to go hunting for dinner after an 8.5 hour drive from Denver. The negative - The beers I had weren't very good. The first one tasted a little soapy and had a funky mouthfeel. The second, which the beertender recommended, was very bland for an IPA. In my opinion, the brewmaster needs to refine his recipes. The brewery is very classic home town brewery. They have a root beer beer that is amazing. The watermelon cider tastes like a jolly rancher. What is so amazing about the brewery is that they have a potluck on Thanksgiving. Very quick and efficient service. They have outdoor seating and are dog friendly. read more

Stopped her for a rest after shopping and we each got hard ciders. I had the lavender and it was quite good. My son had the watermelon and it was also good. My daughter had the dry cider and she enjoyed it. There were a fair number of people having a nice time. I haven't been here for two years and I'm very happy that things are as good, if not better, than my last visit. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The brewery IS the hub of the city. There you can have a local beer or a New Mexican beer. Some of the local musicians perform there, and some very interesting musicians that are passing through, also perform there. Recently, C.W. Ayon put on the best show. He really rocked the house with some Southern Rock like you've never heard. From here, you can wander around town and visit some really nice galleries, e.g. The Center Gallery, Zia Gallery or Rio Grande Fine Arts Gallery. My favorite restaurant is just across the street and down a bit. Truth or Consequences is a quirky small town that will have you coming back over and over again. No need to dress up; come as you are. June 3, 2023 - Truth or Consequences Brewing Company, NM) We arrived at Truth or Consequences Brewery after a one hour soak at the Riverbend mineral Springs. We were hoping for a Beer and some lunch. There was only one other couple sitting at the bar when we arrived a little after noon. We called ahead to see if it would be OK to bring our dog with us. The guy said it would be fine and that the dog could actually come indoors as long as he was well behaved. Our server's name was Lee. He was a very friendly and engaging guy in his early 20s I'm imagining. He got us lined up with a pint of the Buckhorn West Coast IPA for me and a flight of ciders and beer for my wife. We had hoped to get a bite to eat while we're here, but apparently the food part of their operation wasn't happening when we showed up. Lee was an international studies major and told us about his upcoming trip to Osaka, Japan. As part of my wife's drink flight, we got to try the Mothership double IPA and the Big Bang triple IPA. This is one of the main reasons why we come to truth or consequences, but last night me and my partner experienced some of the worst customer service that makes us not want to go back. My partner had shown three forms of ID to the bartender, a passport card ( which expired two months ago), a valid drivers license, and a valid SENTRI card that is used for international and global travel, and she still denied to service her stating " I am not sure if this is a valid form of ID, I don't know what that is ". We are from las cruces and we're visiting a friend in t or c we decided to go have a nice time at the brewery and we unfortunately were refused service after just 2 drinks. We were not being loud or causing a scene and we were still refused service. This is extremely dishartening to me, and after all was said and done my good friend who is from t tor c informed me that they are known to refuse service to customers who do not tip them well. In town to see T or C and do a soak at the mineral baths. Wandered into the brewery on a Sunday night. They have no food available but have a working relationship with Grapevine Bistro. Place your order, they bring it to you at the brewery. Tasty hatch burger and Mac n cheese with brisket. The poppers were great too. I stopped in this place twice during my drive to and from Chicagoland over the Christmas break. My first time here was on a Tuesday late afternoon, December 22nd. I tried the Christmas Ale, served in a five-ounce goblet. It was perfectly spiced. My second time was on my way back to Arizona on January 4th. It was a Saturday early evening and the place was packed with locals. The Christmas Ale was sold out, but I enjoyed the roasted Green Chile Amber just as well. Both times I sat at the bar and got fast and friendly service. Michael, one of the beer tenders, is a pro there and can converse about anything. He clearly enjoys his job. Beers are served in goblets or pints and are sold in crowlers and growlers. The ABV determines the price; higher-alcohol beers cost more and so do seasonal beers. My crowler of Green Chili Amber was $9. There is plenty of seating. Customers can grab a boardgame and play a few rounds. Dogs are allowed on the patio only. read more

Yes, this isn't the greatest beer ever made but for this very small town, it's just about the only damn bar to go to. So in that perspective, it's great. The rest of the town is kinda depressing in a nostalgia throw back way, and walking into here makes you feel warm and cozy like. At 6pm on a weeknight they were pretty busy. The only place we found with more than 4 people congregated lol There were outside tables, picnic tables and booths inside, plus high top tables and bar stools. No food is served but you can buy chips. They have flights available which are served in small glasses placed in a muffin tin. We had that last drink on the credit card and when we got the receipt from Gmail the bartender decided to have two more drinks on us and then come to ​ out it's their policy to charge you 20% above and beyond the beer . If you're going to go to the brewery don't start a tab . Pay one drink at a time and then tip as you think they deserve. The gall of people to just take 20% the nerve of them to assume they automatically deserve a tip of 20% .
