I recently had my first in Phoenix on vacation and loved it. Put that in my notes for the appt. Got there at 7:30 and had to wait. Was asked if I was the appt. I said yes - barber doesn't do straight razor and I can cancel and reschedule. Since I had taken time out of my day just a cut. 35 dollars for the basic buzzed deputy army cut..I asked not to much off the top and no skin on the sides. Got skin on the sides and look balding up top because it's basically a buzz cut like military. Yeah I won't be back. Barbers in DM are not what they could be. 60 bucks cash in phoneix for a straight razor shave, haircut, hair wash, hot towel facial, the Ortiz special was legit a great experience.. back to great clips in Iowa - scissors and scotch was not for me either

Recommended to me, I decided to give this place a try due to its price and proximity to my home. It did not disappoint. Truc is my barber and she has always done a fantastic job. She has even gone above and beyond for me when I had a scheduling conflict. You'll need to schedule an appointment ahead of time for availability. And they do offer other services as well. Just check out the website for those details. Highly recommended!

I'm not one to post negative reviews, I'd speak to someone first…read more I got the worst haircut I've ever had. I'm retired, on a strict budget and I have to save for haircuts, it was a big deal to me. Tony has so many great reviews that I felt I was in good hands. He seemed like a nice guy, we talked about the cut. He basically did ever that I DIDN'T want. That would not be a big deal, sometimes it takes a cut or two to get it right IF THE QUALITY WAS THERE. It's a choppy mess. The fade I didn't want is choppy and uneven. I lost months of growth that I was specific about leaving as much as possible. , but I did say that if he needs to go shorter to connect everything that's ok - assuming he knew what he was doing. I felt ok after he was finished, I knew it wasn't great but when I got home ... yikes. It's like a joke it's so bad. In hindsight they were polite but I did not feel "welcome" ... I was hoping to find a regular barber. They are close and reasonably priced but obviously not a good fit.

Finally caught him when he was actually there and again and he said he was "all booked up" and to call back tomorrow on Friday. Told him I had been calling and no one was answering.
