My shrimp and fries arrived fast--way quicker than I expected--still piping hot and smelling incredible the moment I opened the bag. The shrimp were the real star. Perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor without being greasy. You can tell they take pride in doing fried seafood the right way. The fries were fresh, well-seasoned, and actually stayed crisp during delivery, which almost never happens. Great service for the delivery. One other thing, the prices are excellent too! Overall, the whole experience was fantastic. Fast delivery, amazing food, and quality that truly stands out. If you're craving shrimp done right, Chicago Rish & Chicken is the spot. I'll definitely be ordering again!

One of my items was prepared incorrectly, and instead of remaking the sandwich, the owner grilled the missing vegetables and handed them to me, telling me to add them myself. I explained multiple times that I did not want a "refurbished" sandwich -- I simply wanted it remade. He refused and insisted on giving me a refund instead of correcting the order. Thankfully, his daughter stepped in with kindness and offered to remake my sandwich, which I appreciated. To keep customers satisfied, it's important not to become upset when a mistake is made. A simple remake would have resolved the issue. I will patronize them again, but I will never order online again.

The front room has benches and an area to order/pick up to go food and also where a hostess gets you to seat you. Although pretty packed there were available tables so we got seated pretty quickly. Our server was polite and was efficient with taking our order. We ordered the pancakes, 2 catfish plates, and the shrimp and grits. The wait was excessive for our food (over 45 min wait) and we saw people who sat after us getting their food before us which was disappointing. When our food arrived the flavor was good but items like the potatoes and my eggs were cold. On top of that once we ordered our waiter never checked back in with us for drinks, to see how the food was, if we needed to go containers etc which was disappointing. We had to ask new potatoes as ours were cold and that took almost 15 minutes to get to us and the ones we got were lukewarm. Considering the wait for our meals and then for hot potatoes it was disappointing that even the new item ended up being lukewarm. We ended up having to flag down someone else to ask for to go boxes and had to also flag down our waiter when we finally saw him again 10 minutes later to get the check. Overall it was ok but the lack of hot food and customer service brought the experience down. All businesses can have an off day and I love supporting Black owned businesses so we will still be back to give it a try again

You pick your combo, then a heat level and a sauce and lastly you grab a side and beverage. Today was my first visit, so I did the 2X3 Combo. I wanted to experience both wings and tenders to see which one I like best. To be honest, they both were pretty impressive. The two tenders were huge slices cut from a breast and the wings were very meaty for a wing. I lucked out and got two drums and two flats, so I enjoyed my bonus piece. The serving was plentiful, I only ate half and enjoyed the remainder for an early evening dinner. A little warm up in the Air Fryer and it was as good as my lunch. I wimped out and only did a 1 heat level. As I've aged, my body doesn't allow me to eat the hot foods I use to enjoy so much. The 1 was mildly hot and I still had to chew two Tums after my lunch. Since it is order at a window, there's no table service. I took my order home, but if you want to, they have multiple picnic tables for you to enjoy your hot chicken on their patio. The service was friendly, professional and quick. I had no complaints about anything. I'll definitely will be returning for another dining experience. I think I'll buy the tenders and add them to a salad at home for a low-carb dinner.
