Nicole, and the legal clerk Sheila, took over 10 months to close on a vacant lot. It was absurd that it took so long to close on a cash deal between family members and they could not even give a good explanation why. They gave excuse after excuse and still charged me $500 for legal fees! They should have waived all fees since they took nearly a year to close the simplest of deals. Please avoid going to this firm. Sheila will lie to you about timelines and Nicole will not help get the answers needed to finish the transaction. I cannot urge you strongly enough to stay away from the incompetence that surrounds this law firm.

My last call about 3 weeks ago your assistant stated " I do see something here, and I am waiting for Nicole's signature, it is on her desk" 9 months ago when I called, I was told by Sheila " these things take around 8 months to complete" therefore I waited the 8 months to call, and we are still waiting for a resolution to this matter. Secondly, when the sale of our house ( Tremont st) went through, we never received any paperwork, or emails stating money made out, and to whom. Therefore we have absolutely nothing for preparing taxes this year. A paper copy would be sufficient, however a Pdf file would be alright as well. Lastly we are concerned if we were ever represented properly? Closing took an absurd amount of time, and Everytime we called for an update we were rudely rushed with inaccurate information. I have requested to speak with you, and have left several messages with a return number for a return call back without any success. We have been rushed through every concern and are so disappointed, we don't know how to proceed at this point. Could you please take a moment and return our phone call, so we can attempt to resolve these matters? I am not sure if your assistant has been notifying you with our urgent request to speak with you on multiple occasions. I want to thank you in advance for your prompt attention to this matter.

They charged me over $13,000 and dragged the case out over 3 years. I have PTSD from my interactions with these people and am currently seeking psychological therapy to overcome the trauma. I don't recommend this firm.

He did not file the case in the correct jurisdiction . I am a client that gave him the address and zip code along with the copy of the lease and the name of the tenant. Micheal got paid for his services and I even paid him to hire the sheriff to evict the tenant. The sheriff department too, took the fees and never said that the property is not in their jurisdiction . When I asked the sheriff to come to the property and Evict the tenant, only then they told me that the property was not in their jurisdiction, and they can not do any think about it . The case has to be filed allover again. Micheal was supposed to file the case in Kenmore and not in Buffalo. or vise versa. Micheal refused to take responsibility for his work and he is redoing the work the proper way. He wasted 3 month of my time and his fees and the sheriff fees for this. Now I have to start all over again. His lack of knowledge and experience is going to cost me another three months of lost rent and another attorney and the sheriff department fees all over again . Hiring Micheal dwan was a big mistake. He doesn't know his job.

The Divorce was simple and Paul somehow messed it up. He took my retainer money for a upcoming hearing and won't refund it. I called the Bar Association just waiting to hear back. Her lawyer needed a form for insurance to take me off of my exes but Paul ignored her attempts to contact him. I had to Google the legal form myself and send it off to them. I don't know what I paid for. His paralegals do all of his work. Paul will not return phone calls or emails. I don't think he has a computer and I'm not kidding. He did not get her lawyer discovery and then proceeded to bill me anyways. Paul is worth just being a good car salesman to get you in. That's why his ratings on Lawyer.com has him at 2.8 I wish I knew this ahead of time. He owes me $2000 for the appearances he didn't make and not accomplishing anything the previous one. My new lawyer communicates everything and finally the case is moving along. I had other lawyers wouldn't touch my case because they said Paul messed it bad but my new lawyer has been great so far and cleaning things up. My new Lawyer Katlyn Johnson just got me almost triple what Paul couldn't get me. She closed the deal in 2 months and Paul didn't do anything in 5 months. He is a scam artist that talks a big game. Do not fall for his antics. I was on the verge of getting nothing with Paul and she clean it up easily and closed the deal. She is also cheaper than Paul. Update: Paul Refused to give me 1200 back that he owes me for a court appearance he didn't show up to and said I owe him.

Paul ran my credit card before I even had the retainer agreement read or signed (he flipped over the page with his $350/hr rate very quickly) and left me to sign the agreement. He re-entered the room multiple times huffing and acting impatient that it wasn't signed immediately. I felt intimidated, frustrated, and completely taken advantage of. I should've trusted my gut and left instead of allowing him to take a full retainer. I fired Paul after 3 days, which he used $1,200 out of my $1,500 retainer to simply ADJOURN a court date for HIS OWN VACATION. I received a $310 refund for Paul to do absolutely nothing but disrespect and waste my time. He promised me that retainer would get me through "at least 3 months". Im thankful didn't have him represent me in the courtroom. I'll also note that communication is a joke, his "receptionist" just screams your requests across the hall without putting herself on mute while you sit awkwardly listening to them shout at eachother
