Many a board game night at Trumer Pils. So sad to see it closing.

I am so ashamed I never wrote a review for this place. Been going here for a few years with the board game meetup group and the service and beer never disappoint! They also serve food as well. Great place for large groups. They have indoor and outdoor seating available.Going to miss this place. Thank you Trumer Pils for the memories and for making community possible.

It's so amazing we just discovered this place! Love the vibe here. Its very casual and the staff we dealt with were very nice. There's outdoor seating and its pet friendly. The beers are very tasty and a nice change from IPAs which I usually drink. We didn't eat here. Next time, we plan to since the menu had some pretty yummy looking options.

Trumer Brewery is one of our favorite breweries in Berkeley. They have solid beers and often have new beers to try. I don't usually choose a pilsner but at Trumer their pilsners are light and refreshing! They have 3 TV's on at least with a sports game on. Great place to go grab a beer and watch a game! They also have a rewards system where you can rack up points for a free beer.

Joined the Oakland Ballers for a brunch Sunday afternoon. Trumer is fantastic or Ballertasic as I would say! Clean and room to have parties inside or out. The food was really good for the side dish style menu. Service was friendly and always on top of everything. Would definitely return to enjoy the Raspberry Rye and snacks offered! Highly recommend.

I love this brewery. It's such a chill place to close out your workday with drinks and good friends. Great brews, great drinks, great vibe at a great price! What more could you ask for? I highly recommend the chocolate raspberry bock. It tastes exactly how it's described, and is delicious! The bratwurst sandwich is so good, I'm craving another one while writing this review. Honestly, going to this brewery might become a weekly thing to me. Cheers!

The first brewery I've been to that has a more quiet ambiance. There's tables to seat parties, community tables, bar seating, and a spacious patio. Service is quick and the whole staff is friendly. We tried the chicken wings and the pretzel - born were satisfactory. The wings were nice and saucy, with a nice bite of heat. A smaller food menu, but great for sharing.

Tried some new brews, the pre-prohibition lager, firefox hoppy lager, fresh hop crystal lager, and the fresh hop harvest lager. I'm really enjoying all the new brews here. I remember back in the day when it was only the Trumer Pils they offered after a tour haha. The Game Day Brunch menu is a cool idea as well with a side of the trumer brewery coffee!

Since my last visit to the city, an old and classic brand has made a leap forward with the Trumer Brewery taproom in Berkeley. I've had their namesake beer, but was pleasantly surprised they have a dedicated taproom which ended up being a highlight of my entire trip. My close friends brought me here as they knew I'd appreciate it. On site they make all of their beers. They also have a sister brewery in Austria. The indoor space is beautifully new and modern, with an old vibe, as is the facade with cool lighting. The outdoor beer garden is big and comfortable, with fresh air and cozy lighting. We ordered some flights and delicious food, the kids loved the place as well. I had the mac & cheese which was needed on our evening out. They were hosting a group gathering that looked like it was having fun, this is definitely a great spot to stop with friends for clean classic beer styles. If you're a beer fan, this is a must-visit stop!

"One of my all time favorite breweries!" This tap room is co-located with the main brewery. Seating at the bar, you can see these monstrous brewing tanks close by. The friendly general manager Travis, explained they're going to be opening the brewery tours soon. I hope I am first on the list! The day that I visited they were running a $25 flights and bites special. That includes four beer and four food pairings. It was absolutely heavenly. Uh oh, the food might be even better than the beer! I thought the brewery only made one beer, but they have expanded into quite a few other beers. Naturally, I still prefer the original Pilsner. The GM explained that it's modeled after an Austrian beer including the ultra tall, slender glass. Oh no, now I have to go to Austria! There's a large outside seating area, complete with event space. Additionally, there's a large number of high tables as well as low tables inside. You can also purchase various sizes of their classic pilser beer. Don't forget to say hello to the amazing chef, Daniel. He is the creator of these wonderful culinary delights. Special shout out to the nice General manager, Travis, and the friendly bartenders, Brittney and Keila. Thank you for making my visit so pleasant. I will be back many times.

I recently heard about the Trumer Brewery opening up a brewery and tap room in Berkeley so I couldn't resist stopping by (several times) to enjoy a few of their incredible lagers. I started with the Trumer Pils and it was the cleanest, smoothest and most clear Pilsner that I've tasted in a long time. The layout of the brewery and taproom is well thought out and accommodates medium-sized groups as well as it does solo flyers. The placement of beautiful brewing equipment right behind the taps is well thought out and certainly adds dimensions to Trumers aesthetic. The outside is well laid out and I was quickly surprised to see very large fermentation tanks looming in the background. Service was excellent and brews were served by kind and knowledgeable beer tenders. I can't wait to go back!

The food is absolutely delicious, the service and the ambience is friendly and social. Great place for a light breakfast sandwich and mimosa., or a late lunch and delicious iced Cold Crisp Pilsner.

4th Street and the surrounding area in Berkeley is such a gem ~ the shops, the wine bars, and now a newer addition..Trumer Brewery! "Born in Austria, Brewed In Berkeley", I love a light and crisp Pilsner, and grabbing a Trumer feels just right. We've been to Trumer for a large event they had earlier in the year and also just recently with a group of friends. First time ordering snacks, we went with the pierogi's and the warm squabisch & beer cheese. While I love brewery snacks, maybe this was an off service day, but they didn't hit home the way we were hoping. A bit disappointed by the beer cheese and comfort I was hoping with the pierogi's. The menu does have some other items of interest like pigs in a blanket, deviled eggs, a vegan bowl, and bratwurst sandwich on a pretzel bun that sound like yummy choices...next time! A great space to tuck into to watch a sports game or with good weather hang outside, awesome merch, fun staff, and conveniently located with ample parking. Recommend the beer sampler for value!

Get the chocolate beer! Smelled like chocolate but light in flavor, it was super tasty. We also got the pretzel and the bratwurst and both were delicious! The space inside isnt super big but they also have a space outdoors as well. Service was good.

We ordered fries and a veggie plate to start and the fries that showed up were covered in paprika and soggy like they were baked. Extreme premium prices for beyond mediocre food. The hummus was laughable and ranch was awwwful. We ordered a following round of food with chicken strips, a burger and more fries. This time the fries were completely different. They were deep-fried and crunchy (definitely came from a bag) but a completely different french fry from what we received on our first order. Still the same foul Ranch and the ketchup that was out in squeeze bottles was beyond disgusting it was thin, sour and bright red with tin flavor. Chicken strips were fine, they 100% came from a bag and were consistent with hundreds of other restaurants that purchase the same ones. We asked the server if we could have our burger cut in half and they snapped that they were too busy to do that. The people next to us and across from us had burgers that were split in half... And the burger was a complete joke. Their "special sauce" is just cheap mayonnaise mixed with some of that cheap ketchup (that is probably from a huge can from the top corporate food distributor.) People listing that this is one of their favorite burgers are really missing out on some experiences in life, or they're eating them after their third double IPA... It's a beautiful place, great yard area. But the food needs to open a new document and start again. I can't believe how much it cost for how horrible it was. I'm in shock.

Their beer isn't as weird as they may sound. If you did a blind tasting without looking at the names of the beer, you might not even notice the subtle flavors like hojicha cream ale or Vietnamese coffee lager. I like that these names/descriptions are Asian. I liked most of the local comedians they had. My only complaint is the people sitting near us were talking too loudly and I couldn't always hear the comedians. I wish the earlier comedians would've made a joke about the noise level to make them stop talking so loudly. Street parking was surprisingly easy to find in this area.
