For almost two decades, our returns were relatively complex, involving multi-family real properties, investment accounts and several more complex forms of investment.

Her fees were reasonable to start with, and, over the past two years' returns, as our tax picture became less complex (we'd unwound many of our more complicated investments) she reduced them still further.
We now live quite a ways from Seattle - and have for 8 years. Until now, we had remained with Kathleen because we appreciate her services. This year, we finally cut the cord, after finding an excellent practitioner not 3 miles away from us in our small town.
While we *could* have handled all our reports, forms and such remotely, we preferred to have at least one or two review meetings and it's just become way too difficult to drive into Seattle!
