There is a machine to change your dollar bills to quarters. We brought our own detergent (got them at CVS). Cost $2.50 for the small washer and an extra 50 cents if you want an extra rinse to your wash. Otherwise the standard wash takes about 25 minutes. We put our wash in and went to Cuban Coffee Queen to get breakfast (by the way, there is a small Cuban place that sells cafe con leche and breakfast right next door to the laundromat). We came back and put our wash into the dryer, dryer cost 25 cents for 4 mins. We did 45 minutes, went back to the hotel and packed/checked out and came back to get our stuff from the dryer. Clothes completely dry. Just be careful backing out your car as the laundromat is right at the corner of a street intersection.

A lady that works there showed up and was kinda rude. She apparently reserves the back bench, table, and sidewalk and then takes in laundry for people who want to drop off. I've got no issue with that, but it's not marked as reserved so we had no idea and she was sort of rude about it. Like how are we supposed to know? One of the dryers also wasn't heating so we lost some quarters there. Because there is a pretty good cafe attached to this place called Sandy's, this could have been a better experience. I think next time I'll take my clothes somewhere else, start them washing, then head to Sandy's and grab a bite before going back down the street to a different laundry.

When I wash my clothes I am looking for a place that: 1) has clean floors in case I drop something; 2) has machines that work; 3) has a place to fold my clothes. If you come at the end of the day or on the weekends, this place is both dirty and totally full. It's a fight to get a machine sometimes. While the location is great and there's always parking (and Dollar General is next door if you run out of soap or want a snack), there is never anyplace available to fold your clothes. There are only a few tables and those get taken quickly. The bathroom is pretty gross, but it's a public bathroom in a laundry mat so, that's expected. Machines that break are not fixed for days or weeks (or in the case of that dryer on the bottom left, many many months).

On my last visit, there was a stream of dirty water flowing (and I mean, flowing!) out the door down the aisle that's farthest from Roosevelt. Also, I never know if the machines are going to work or not, and when they are broken, they don't fix them. They just remove the broken sign so that the next person puts money in and rediscovers it is broken, losing their money. Nearly all the dryers were down on my last visit so I packed up my laundry and went to the place next to Anytime Fitness on Flagler.
