I was with Farmers and merchant Bank since 2009 I switched to Capital One 360 Let me tell you why. This 4th of July did it for me. Let me tell you I'm not perfect and have had my share of mistake with my account. Typically I run my account at barebones. which makes for some scrambling to get funs in there before i get a NSF $35 fee. I check my account everyday to make sure we have the funds to cover what we might of missed. I have had a few NFS and they did charge me $35 and we asked them to waive the fee and they did help and return some fees sometimes. Some of the fees I didn't ask for them to waive because I deserved them. During the 4th of July Holiday I checked my account a usual no issues had fund in the account. I looked on Friday and i saw an NFS $35 fee. I called the bank and they said they could not waive the fee. My paycheck goes in on Thursdays and as of Wednesday I had fund in my account?WTF??? I don't think I deserved this fee. Here's the issue when in doubt the customer gets the benefit of the doubt. right? ----They don't have realtime banking ----inflexibility of branch manager (Kelly Johnson) ---- charge lots of fees. ++++Capital One charge no Over draft fees! ++++Real Time Banking The inflexibility of the manager at the Roberts Field branch needs to learn their own slogan. Instant eye contact from a busy teller that let me know she would get with me soon--I think her name is Malu. Wile she was helping me, the manager, Hope, overheard our discussion about the new PNC credit card I had recently gotten, and she came over to make sure I understood how to the biggest benefits from it and was super helpful and friendly. Its fun going to the bank again!!

I can't believe I'm writing a five-star review for Bank of America, the "friendly evil" bank. But…read morevisiting this branch was not like going to a giant mega-bank branch - it was more like a neighborhood community bank. My only reason for holding a BofA account is this: I do most of my banking through an internet-only bank. I'm definitely not a "platinum" customer at BofA by any means. But having an account at a bank with a physical presence is helpful when you need to do something that requires actually going to the bank, which, in this case, was getting a cashier's check to close on my mortgage since my Internet bank does not offer cashier's checks. I was greeted in a friendly manner, and my transaction was handled and I was treated as if I was a valued customer. Despite having an account which was opened out of state, causing a few minor complications, the staff at this bank handled those complications politely and professionally and were incredibly hospitable, even though it was clear from the information on my account that I wasn't a frequent customer. If I ever need in-person service again, this is the branch I'm going to, even if I have to go out of my way to get there.
