They do not respect privacy by leaving office doors open allowing everyone to hear other customers business. We went to deposit a large closing check drawn on Truist into our account and withdraw funds. The response was, what are you going to use the money for, with a jack o lantern smirk. When we told him what we use the money for was none of his business, it put a bigger smirk on his face. He went into a big speech as to why they do it. Finally, I told him I have stage 4 cancer and if I wanted to give it all away it was none of their business. I was then told it would take 2 weeks to clear and 3 weeks to be able to draw from. When we told him it was unexceptable he said we would have better luck at Truist with a smirk. I asked him if he thought this was funny. Jason of the Oak Ridge office snickered. At that point, we decided to leave the arrogance and insulting abuse. We went to Truist, who treated us with the utmost respect. Our funds will be available in 2weeks. In conclusion, the Bank of Oak Ridge is a very small fish appearing to struggle in today's world. We have decided to move to a national bank.

So, I decided to go in. I had my five pound dog with me when I went inside. When I got to the counter the teller spoke immediately stating that she could not and would not assist me in making a deposit, due to me having my dog with me. I was shocked! I stated that I had taken my dog inside several different locations and that I have never had any issues before. I told her that I had problems outside trying to make the deposit and that was the only reason for coming inside. She could have cared less about the problem I had outside. I walked out, but went back in. When I did, two other females that were there. They said nothing and offered no solution to the problem, of trying to just make a deposit. I banked with Truliant for about 2-3 years, rarely using the account as it was my local source for…read morecash, deposits, etc. Their local branches are excellent, helpful and wonderful to deal with. It could be a great bank...until you need their support. In December they alerted me to a fraudulent purchase for just under $1000. I called, confirmed it was not me and they provisionally added the credit back to my account. I provided all the information I could to backup that I did not make the purchase. In February, they removed the provisional credit and stated "no error occurred" placing the blame on me and removing $1000 from my account. I worked with their fraud team to no avail and even contacted their Sr. Management Team which placed the blame on Visa's fraud department. They had a chance to make this right and failed on multiple occasions. Never again Truliant, you failed me and I'm out $1000.
