The bill pay service with Apple was "frozen" due to some issue between their bill pay vendor and Apple FCU. I've tried to call Apple FCU, and they point to the bill pay service. I try to call the bill pay service and it's an endless path of automated messages that I cannot get through even after typing in my information several times. I've tried going to the branch who told me it was likely a scam, and they couldn't help me. Then I sent the "scam" to the Apple FCU bill pay email (because that's the only way to get a hold of them) and they tell me it's legit and the only way to resolve the issue is to call the bill pay vendor again. It's just one vendor pointing to the other and no one willing to help their customer of 20 years. My bill pay service has been frozen for close to two weeks and despite phone calls, email, bill pay message, and visiting the branch, I still have no resolution. If you were thinking of joining Apple FCU, I quickly run to another bank. That is unless you like getting the constant run around and no live people to talk to who know how to help.

For example, you can't put a bill on auto-pay that is not a fixed dollar amount, like for credit cards we pay off each month. Also, they don't offer (require!) multi-factor authentication, such as requiring entry of a code texted to your phone. Wha?! I've been with this back since the Chevy Chase Bank days, but am now looking for a better bank that does online banking in a modern way.

This should not be, I did everything immediately to cover the check, if I had ignored it and did nothing about it, then of course I should be banned. I have a perfect track record of never bouncing a check in over 50 years, and I have a credit score of over 820. Because of their lack of understanding, I will never bank with Wells Fargo again!

The ATM that I normally visit is at the Sheetz in Haymarket, VA - was a few miles away (the ATM at Sheetz is also not part of where I bank). Anyhow, Wells Fargo charges a $3.00 transaction fee for using their ATM. The ATM at Sheetz in Haymarket charges a $0.00 fee for using it. Never using a Wells Fargo ATM ever again!

Middleburg bank is one of the best banks I've ever been a customer with. They're a real, small town type of bank, the kind you really don't hear of anymore. They treat you like a human being, the tellers are always friendly. They have human beings that answer the phone when you call! They also have a nice, free checking account option with no hooks -- no minimum balances or anything like that. They'll definitely be my bank of choice for the foreseeable future.

I never received anything from NWFCU until 6 weeks after they approved my loan. When I tried using my banks 'bill pay' the transaction was denied so they mailed a check. After more than 2 weeks NWFCU hasn't processed that payment check. Probably because I haven't received a payment coupon book. It takes over a month after requesting one before I'll receive it. Oh, by the way, the first person I talked with last week didn't process my request and didn't let me know this information!!
