I was referred to this law firm for a domestic relations case with my ex after my previous attorney…read moreretired. I met originally with Tucker Katz for an hour and went over the issues with my case. I chose Tucker because I needed an attorney that wouldn't be retiring soon so I could have one long term. I discussed the amount of conflict between my ex and I and expressed that I needed help navigating through that conflict and I made him aware that I chose him because of his ability to be my attorney long term. As a single mother with very little extra funds, I paid the initial retainer of $3000. This was a lot of money, but looking long term, I felt it was necessary. Tucker ``represented" me for two years. I put that word in quotes because during those two years, there were no court appearances, no mediation, only one 15min phone conference with a judge. I spent a total of $6900 during those two years for a minimal amount of work. Tucker then chose to withdraw from my case and gave me a reason of my ex and I having conflict. After he agreed to discuss this decision, he never did and withdrew without any discussion. I emailed asking why nothing was set up to discuss this and he then responded stating that he wouldn't change him mind and came up with a completely different reason to withdraw. He then charged me to write up his withdrawal and the filing fee. I have since heard that this is a pattern of his. I don't know if this is how all the attorneys in this office practice, but it seems like a big scam to me. I typically don't write reviews but I want to warn anyone else out there who may be fooled by him. He'll just take your money and withdraw, leaving you to start all over. DO NOT HIRE HIM!

I'd recommend this attorney to anyone who is struggling with a disability insurance claim. And…read morelet's be honest, that's anyone that is applying for disability from an insurance company. Were it not for the efforts of Patricia and her team, I would just be out of luck. I suffer from a progressive muscle disease that has over the course of 33 years put me in a position where I can no longer walk without a high chance of falling over and breaking something. I definitely couldn't get up on my own even if nothing was broken. Handicap stalls are useless to me unless I have someone to pick me up from the toilet. Even if I was always using a wheelchair, my upper body strength in some cases is insufficient to fight even gravity. My company was unable to accommodate my condition, and as such I was terminated after a year on leave. My company's disability insurance carrier was unclear about the exact nature of the information they required for a long term disability claim, and so they ended up denying my claim. It wasn't until I consulted with Patricia that I learned exactly what was needed. With her guidance, the necessary evidence was gathered and confirmed by medical experts. She crafted a few well supported letters to the insurer, a couple videos of my physical state, and the denial was reversed. Overall a good experience. Patricia and her staff are friendly and professional. They've been dealing with insurers for years. Their experience is the difference between being approved or denied, even if you think you're a shoo-in for receiving benefits.

During what was undoubtedly one of the most difficult, devastating, challenging times of my life, this brilliant legal team proved to be invaluable. They are truly masters of their craft and they operate with unparallel legal prowess, sensitivity and grace. The genuine care and empathy shown allowed me to feel seen and understood. Their brilliance, professionalism, and timely communication helped alleviate my stress during a very emotional process, but more importantly Jessica and Jonathan are excellent, highly experienced litigators which is an extremely important trait that should NOT be overlooked when selecting an attorney. My probate case was exceedingly complicated, much more so than originally anticipated. This superb team did not miss a beat, they understood the details thoroughly, expertly preparing documents and filings tailored to my very specific needs. My multitude of questions was met with patience followed by thorough explanations. The entire team took the time to review and explain absolutely everything I needed to know, and they expertly prepared me for mediation, hearings and a possible trial. Mitzi the legal secretary and the paralegals Brenda O'Brien and Erica Slauson are phenomenal. I worked primarily with Brenda but was grateful that when she was out on vacation Erica stepped in to help in her absence. That's the thing about a great team; they work seamlessly with one another. I think it's also important to mention that despite being fierce, formidable litigators, Jessica and Jonathan operate with decorum, treating opposing counsel and opposing counsel's clients respectfully. Trust me when I tell you, that a lawyer that does not hold themselves or their client(s) to this same standard comes across as unprofessional, angry, cruel and disrespectful, which is not a good look and will NOT help your case. In the end, because of Jessica, Jonathan and their incredible legal team, a feeling of helplessness was transformed into one of being supported, respected, and heard. They gave me a voice, provided a safe haven, gave me a coat of armor and allowed me to have hope. They re-humanized me by empowering me with a qualified team of professionals, by believing in me and my case and advocating for my rights. They looked out for me when the people that were supposed to didn't, which is not only a testament to their character, but also to their commitment to humanity and justice. It was truly a pleasure and a privilege to have such fine individuals in my corner. I am profoundly grateful for the entire team at Strickler Catlin LLC, and I highly recommend them! Only argued one of the five points that I was appealing . Ran out of time in court (she sat herself down after 15 minutes--she should have kept going until the judges told her that her time was up). . Tried to argue a point that was not in the original court proceedings. From the judges written opinion: "While the Interested Persons switch gears and argue in their reply brief that "Mark failed to meet his burden" to rebut the presumption, that's different from their original argument that the court committed legal error. We don't consider this argument raised for the first time in the reply brief." So, the judges ruled against me on all five points.

Howard's strength is his pragmatic command of the law and his ability to move a case forward efficiently. He focused on leverage, timing, and real-world outcomes rather than unnecessary posturing. His approach was disciplined, strategic, and clear-eyed, which helped drive the matter toward a resolution that was more than I expected and ultimately sufficient for both sides. This case could have dragged on unnecessarily, but Howard consistently kept it moving with purpose. I also want to specifically recognize Lindsey Harriman, Paralegal. Her patience, diligence, and professionalism were critical throughout the process. She was responsive, organized, and consistently on top of the details, which made a meaningful difference in keeping everything on track. This team's combined professionalism and execution are the reason we reached a fair and effective conclusion. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for results-focused legal representation.

From our first conversations, he approached me with a paternalistic, combative tone -- less interested in helping me meet my goals than in enforcing a rigid "process" on his terms. He repeatedly implied I didn't understand what I was asking for, openly criticized me for discussing the agreement with my fiancée, and claimed that no competent attorney would agree to our timeline. That turned out to be completely untrue. Both my fiancée's attorney and the attorney I ultimately hired were not only comfortable with the timeline, but also took a far more collaborative and respectful approach -- encouraging open dialogue about our shared goals. David ultimately quit -- but not before sending a series of passive-aggressive emails and repeatedly undermining my judgment. If you're looking for a lawyer who listens, collaborates, and treats you like an adult, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
