The recommendation provided was to invest further resources into reseeding and aerating the lawn. I intend to manage these improvements independently, as I believe the current situation cannot worsen significantly.

My lawn was very overgrown so it was no cakewalk either. I would hire them again. To the reviewer who condemned them for being felons? You made no mention of their quality of work. Kudos for them for trying to run an honest business and make an honest day's wages on the right side of the law. As long as they are fair, don't screw me over, run an honest business, and do a good job then it doesn't make a difference to me if they have made past mistakes. Well, unless they are serial killers, lol The only thing that bothered me was that he didn't have legitimate work order sheets/ receipts. Customers need a record of payment and work done in case there is a problem. And no, I am not a friend of theirs and had never met them before until yesterday.

We contacted them at 8:00 in the…read moremorning and asked if they gave free estimates, and specified that we did not want any work done till we had a quote and confirmed. They arrived with in 30 minutes of the quoted time. After looking at the situations, we asked for a quote for just tree cutting (cutting the fallen tree to manageable sections) and one quote for complete removal. The complete removal was quoted to be $1400. I said that it sounded great and asked him to please send me a written quote to ensure that the price and work expectations will be the same. He said okay, and asked me to text the email to him. Within roughly less than 3 hours, and 4 exchanges... he finally sent me a written quote of $2100. When inquired if it was an error, he texted back and said "It's not a mistake; sometimes it happens when you look for several quotes and then you make a decision" 10:20 I texted my email to him as requested at the end of meeting 11:50 He texted me and that he sent the quote. He only sent for cut only, not for cut and haul. So I immediately asked for a full clearing quote. 1:09 I get the quote for full clear and asked if it was an error - much more than discussed 1:19 he said "It's not a mistake; sometimes it happens when you look for several quotes and then you make the decisions." A company that literally jacked up your price because you were shopping for a quote - is not trustworthy to perform work without written quote.. Would not recommend work without written quote for buyer protection. We did not have them waiting for an unreasonable amount of time by any stretch of the imagination - most of it was waiting for them to send me written quotes. Pictures just to give you the idea of how interested I was and really wanted a written estimate.

We scheduled the work based on that agreement -- only for them to come back later demanding a higher price ($400 more) and insisting they also take the cut wood that we very clearly said we wanted to keep. They used to excuse for wanting to take the wood as there reason to not complete the job. As if that wasn't frustrating enough, communication completely fell apart after that. They stopped responding, never followed through on the revised plans, and ultimately wasted our time. We rearranged our schedules for their availability, only to be left hanging with no explanation. Professionalism, reliability, and honest pricing matter -- and unfortunately, this company fell short on all three. I would not recommend them based on our experience.

I write to you not as a customer but a victim of Tree-mend-us who performed tree services next…read moredoor. The story... Before leaving for a vacation in late June 2022, a wind storm dropped several trees. Both my neighbor and I cut all trees that fell to the ground however my neighbor requested service for cutting tree limbs from high areas. While I was on my vacation a week later, my neighbor's tree appointment was conducted. Because of areas difficult to reach from his yard, Tree-mend-us took the liberty to use my property to access the neighbor's trees. Of course, without asking for my approval to use my property. They proceeded with moving equipment into my driveway and ran into a gazebo. During his service, the trucks and service equipment used during the tree trimming dripped oil and other lubricants (unable to be removed with a residential power washer) over many areas on my driveway. These stains could easily have been prevented by putting cardboard over the leaky motor, but there was no consideration to those who aren't watching.... I called the salesman who visited my property and consented to the damage. He agreed to replace the gazebo and asked to fund me for the driveway stains or clean it himself. Fortunately, they replaced the gazebo before disappearing (good). However, the driveway is still oil ridden and no funding has occurred even after being requested. Again, as an innocent bystander seeking things to be brought back to the original condition, I attempted removal of the oil with gas, goof-off, and a 3100-psi pressure sprayer to remove the grime. 70% fruitful but... Not able to return to the original finish. FAIL! It has been since 6/29 since the damage occurred (today 9/19/22) and it's still is not complete after several attempts to reach out to the Sale Rep. For the few responses they have made, the sales rep continues to make promises without a commitment or results. So, all folks considering doing business with Tree-Mend-Us, be aware, the commitment to doing things right or asking permission before using... will not be part of the deal. Consult your neighbors first, so they can look out for their property. Tree-Mend-Us is there to get only the job done, no matter what it takes to get there... Out-of-site; Out-of-Mind. They don't care about preventing damage or caring for the damage after realizing it....
