Fast, quick and easy. Able to get them done within the hour. Close location - better than driving to a police station.

I had taken a skills session once with Matt Streich in 2013 and was fine with the experience. It…read morewas low-key, in his home, but he was pleasant and knowledgeable so I signed up for another skill session this May. I scheduled the appointment via email, as I had with my initial one. When I showed up at his home at the agreed time, a car was in the driveway, I figured it was his. It was actually his cleaning ladies' who informed me, after ringing the doorbell for 5 minutes, that he was not home. I left a message and emailed him. An hour later I received a response saying he was so sorry but he forgot about our appointment. And then he told me he would charge me half his fee if I wanted to reschedule. I run my own business, have two children, and am in nursing school full-time. I appreciated the discount. However, I scheduled my entire day, including appointments with my own clients, around this session. If I ever forgot to show up for an appointment with one of my clients, I would've offered to reschedule at no cost. Such lack of professionalism would be beyond embarrassing and it would be the least I could do for my client. When I suggested this to him, I never heard back. I found this behavior to be extremely unprofessional and disrespectful; I do not recommend Heartline CPR.

The AHA now allows health care professionals to complete the written test online in their own time, and then follow up in person to demonstrate your skills. Matt was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and so professional. I learned more in 30 minutes with him, then I have in all my years taking CPR courses. Contact him at: http://www.heartlinecpr.com/wpb/

Eventually they did tell us that they don't and can't confirm that. The candidates we were connected to seemed great, but the interaction with the agency left a sour taste in our mouths. We felt like we'd be given the runaround whenever we had a hard question for them, which isn't a good way to start off. Leaving this review just so people know the agency believes they can't confirm vaccination status of its providers or require that providers be vaccinated. The founder said very few people get the flu shot anymore - big red flag! Edit: Since leaving this review, the company has contacted us implying that our negative review might come to the attention of our employers. I'm curious to see their response! What an experience. Buyer beware. Edit 2: Their reply here says they never said they'd contact our employers. Here is what they said, verbatim: that we would "receive a public response from us where it's discoverable by your employer and anyone else that may want to help your family in the future." We're smart enough to read the implication.

Easily the best money we've spent in regards to the birth process. Joslyn has been a huge help with the baby at night and treats him like her own. She has offered expertise and little hacks here and there that have made a huge difference for us in getting acclimated as new parents (hello pace feeding). we only wish there were more of her! We feel so blessed to have found NOVA and confidently recommend them to anyone, even though we would selfishly like it if we could keep them for ourselves. God Bless!

I have taken the CPR & AED course (for trainers and laypeople) twice in the last 3 years with Life…read moreRescue, and enjoyed it both times. In both cases, my instructor was Amer Tobing, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second before taking his course again when my certification expires. Although I've been CPR certified several times, Life Rescue offered more practical information than my previous certs. Amer's background as a firefighter and in emergency medical services shows, as he has a focused, no-nonsense attitude toward assessing an emergency situation and acting. He teaches us to think in a similar manner by addressing and hammering the most important things to know and remember. He also has a sense of humor, and is great at connecting with people, which makes his class more fun than I ever expected. But make no mistake: he takes his job and the subject matter very seriously, and doesn't let jokes overshadow or displace what is most important. I like how he spends a lot of time focusing on the reality of emergency situations vs. textbook scenarios, because there are some things that books won't tell you. Even though I had taken his class before, the second time around, he didn't let me off the hook if I could have performed something better. I really appreciated it, because it's sometimes the little things that can make a difference. Overall, it feels less like a class and more like practicing and discussing with a coach. I learned more each time, and further reinforced what I previously knew. I feel much more confident after having taken his course, would recommend it to anyone, and actually look forward to taking it again in the future.
