Wonderful Kickstart to mu birthday weekend! Met some friends at this hidden gem and got to try some…read moregood wine. First they hace a lovely indoor seating area which is great for winter group gathering and tasting. They allow you to bring outside food in addition to the Charcuterie options so you can be set for a good time. They were super nice and explained their menu and food options, so now for what I had: Started with a tasting flight. They offer several flights depending on your taste preference we went more sweet, as my friend wasnt fan of dry, and I was honestly looking for a mid range. Then the Wine slushy! Soo good, it was a Frose' this weekend light and fruity, and not super sweet! For snack I got the 2 cheese tray, I was expecting a small Lunchable size, they gave me a full experience! I got two blocks of cheese a tray of Spanish salami, olives, nuts, a raspberry jam and onion and chive crackers. So flavorful, definitely tasty and more than enough food for several friends. First tray Olives, mustard, nuts, cheddar and Duck breast (also very tasty hence gone )- saltwater crackers Second tray (mine) Olives, smoked gouda mustard, rasberry jam, fig jam, manchego, and Spanish salami -- onion chive crackers There will definitely be a return trip in the sping

I guess I can check this off my list!…read more I didn't know we had all these hidden gems right in our own back yard. Met a friend here to catch up a bit...the way life has been life-ing lately, it was wayyyy over due for me! The sun was shining, great weather, awesome company & wine...all that was missing was some yummy treats! With eating outside you're able to bring your own food...definitely noted if I ever venture back here. They do offer some charcuterie and cheese options... My flight was tasty! A couple wines were a bit too sweet for me. Unfortunately they didn't have anything with bubbles...darn! but it was all good! The frozen red wine slushie was pretty good...I think they should offer this in a larger size lol The grounds were lovely and it wasn't busy at all. We really picked the perfect day to come. At 2p they had some live entertainment...and before we knew it, it was 6pm. Definitely looking forward to my next vineyard adventure. Cheers! Happy Yelping!

Every time I see signs for this winery, I want to stop and visit. Well, finally was able to do so…read moreyesterday. From the road the winery/red barn type building looks so cute. As soon as you pull into the driveway, you see a complete and utter mess! There was trash everywhere, chairs and tables rusted and broken, wooden front door is filthy and rotted and wait there's more! I did open the door and go inside (my adult daughter wanted to leave). Upon entering, you see another complete and utter mess with a crazy chime/alarm that sounded like a terrified bird! A man came into the room from a back room and asked if he could help us and apoligized for the "Disarry". I asked if the winery was open and if they were serving tastings (I think I was in denial that this place was so bad. My daughter just wanted to leave). He said that they were open and serving. I then thought quickly..."How old and bad is the wine he would serve and I would be paying to taste?". I quickly said, "Well, no worries, we will come back when you are a little more organized". To that, he quickly turned around and left without one word!!! RUDE!!! Never in my 15 years of visiting wineries have I stumbled across something like this. Fridays Creek Winery deserves 0 stars.

They had an upstairs area for events, although I stuck with the tasting bar. What I tried: Blackfin (white blend): Strong peach notes. Chardonnel: Lots of minerals; my favorite of the lineup. Barberra: Notes of pepper & vanilla. Cab Franc: Peppery, tobacco.

It's on the board walk. You pay for a band and the cost for all the tasting of the wines was just $25.00 which is actually not a bad price. They had numerous wine vendors i want to say about 12 or more. They also had tables with tents set up everywhere pretty impressive because we always bring our chairs because we don't know what the seating situation would be. It's not like your typical wine festival where they have more wine vendors but then they have longer lines. The lines here was not bad at all. They had bands performing which I must say was great! They only had about 3 food vendors which I wish they had offered a little more but the one we selected food from was tasty. I had the jerk catfish with 1 side order of plantains. Which was $11.00 not to bad of a price. It was very tasty with a kick! My fiancée had the pulled pork sandwich with a side order of cabbage. The pulled pork was delicious but he said the cabbage was watered down with no flavor. I kind of figured that it would be. Everyone there was very friendly and from what I understand they have a free movie on the beach on Saturday night. Way to go if your a local. I would definitely recommend this location for the wine tasting and we purchased about 4 bottles of wine to go. This is how we do it...
