Precision Eye Care

Precision Eye Care

I went to Dr. Schultz for the first time at Precision Eye-care Nov 18 & it pains me how bad the…read moreoffice staff was because he was the best Optometrist I've ever seen. I understand the practice just opened but the experience was absolutely ridiculous. I get free government frames for being disabled, I ordered those, paid in full to have no line bifocals put in an already existing pair of my frames that was $200 & my United Healthcare pays so much toward a pair of frames a yr. so I went ahead & got them even though I had to pay another $200 for the no lines in them as well. So I left that day after ordered the 3. I paid in full even though my United Healthcare wouldn't allow me to get a pair they pay for until Jan.1.Well 2 wk later I got a call the frames were done. I went there expecting to get the government free frames & my old frames I had new lens put in. However the didn't have my frames I left. They told me I NEVER LEFT THEM! Even told me "well how would u have driven home, you had to take them" I said I had a ride bc I came on crutches. I also said I have my receipt. I was then told they don't have them there & the person to ask is on a wk vacation so I'd have to call back. I ended up driving up there myself the following week. I said the receipt shows I paid for the specialty lens in two frames the 3rd pair doesn't cost. I also showed a pic I had taken of the new frames next to the one I left to show a friend & the time I took the pic they were already marked on the lens were the bifocal goes. They ended up finding them in someone else's tray, they apologized that they dropped trays & must have put mine in the other tray but they never send them out for lens. So I had to wait again! Then come Jan 4 I call to see how long the pair insurance paid for frames would take to come in. I called again on the 8th checking in hoping to get them before having a major neck surgery. I was told they still hadn't heard anything. Then I got home from surgery & called on the 21st only to be told "oh we haven't sent them to the lab because we were waiting to hear from u on when you wanted to come pay for them so they can be sent out" I was completely shocked which I didn't think was possible to be more shocked at this point. I called about them Jan4&8 yet they were waiting to hear from me, then waiting for me to pay when I paid Nov 18. So again they apologized they didn't know what happened but they would have them in a couple days. However I didn't hear from them so I called them Feb 2 & was told they would check in with the lab & call me back. I got a voice mail Feb 3 apologizing but they just got ahold of the lab & they didn't have frames to send out so they had to order them & when they got to the lab they were defective but they told the lab when the new came in they needed to be expedited fast. I got the call 5 days later the frames were finally in. So after being accused of never leaving frames to have bifocals put in, they never sent to pair insurance covered the start of Jan and not getting them back till Feb 8 I must say this place is very unprofessional.
