It was so cute. The staff were so great with the kids (aged 4-10ish) and safety was a priority. I didn't get a chance to ride any of the horses, but I'd honestly like to come back and do a one time ride at some point. I haven't ridden a horse since I was a teenager, and being around them made me really happy. Such a fun spot and they have a great mission of equine therapy.

They provide the helmets for you to wear. Some of them were pretty worn out so you just have to dig for one of the few better ones. Wear old sneakers and clothes you don't care for. You'll get horse hair on you and smell like a horse at the end of your hour long experience (you spend 15 mins grooming at least, or longer before actually getting to ride the horse). Our instructor (who I am working sure was in her teens lol) was very professional and patient! We were taught how to groom the horses (which allowed us to bond with her) before riding it around the property. The property seemed pretty large and they had a trail that leads into the woods of the property. The horses seem to know the drill all too well as you didn't have to nudge them to begin walking. They also knew exactly where to go and which turns to take on the path. All in all, it was a pleasant experience.
