This consignment shop has a great selection of upscale items, many at a fantastic price. The shop's delivery man was exceptional. Jonathan not only brought the couch sooner than expected, it was well-protected with a tight wrap and under-cover prior to arrival. He also assembled a bookcase in no time flat. In my opinion,and I admit I'm fussy, this is crammed with the ugliest, over scaled furniture and accessories you ever saw and the area is so crowded you can barely walk around. Prices seemed high to me. Will say things seemed in good condition. I'm told the branch (there are three in all, one in Delray) on US Highway 1 is the more upmarket and will explore that another time. Read a couple of rave reviews. I guess it depends on what they have on consignment when you visit. read more

My wife and I bought a table and chairs. A few hours later we received a call that the leaves were missing. We asked for a break in the price and true treasure refused to accommodate for their error. I offered the opportunity to make it right and they didn't. True treasure also lost sale on a a $800 chair in the delray store which we were purchasing. I don't take kindly to being misinformed, offered to little of a remedy, then difficulty with a return of funds. I work with luxury sales and would never allow myself to perform so poorly with a customer. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed with true treasures. read more

I bought the most beautiful desk from this store, hand painted chinoiserie style. Only $200! An unbelievable price for one of the prettiest desks I've seen. There were several other desks, as well as a headboard, that I really wanted but didn't have a need for. I was already sold on this store because of the inventory and incredible prices. Then tonight we had our scheduled delivery with Jonathan -- he went above and beyond. He was incredible. He had not been told that we had stairs, and he single handedly carried the desk upstairs. A drawer wasn't coming out of the desk, and he got a lot of tools out from his truck and figured out what the issue was. Then he saw my husband unpacking a console for our kitchen, and he offered to help. We refused but he insisted, so we let him -- he got the thing set up (with our pathetic help where we could) in such little time. THEN, he saw that our new place had a light in the kitchen hanging ridiculously low, about 4 feet off the ground. He let us know that we could fix that, then he just went and fixed it himself! Jonathan made our night and made our new home a better place to live in. Thank you!! read more

I really felt like such a fool when I consigned a dining room table,4 chairs and an armoire with True Treasures. TT indicated that they thought the furniture could bring about 800.00 They split up the set and sent me a check for 144.00 dollars for the table and chairs which were in perfect condition. Quests what? The check bounced. After some time they reissued a check but again this was far below market value. They sold the armoire after many months and sent a check for 80.00. I was very disappointed and really felt cheated. Never again True Treasures! read more

I have found the quality of the merchandise to be excellent and the pricing reasonable. Customer service has always been excellent.  I have also brought numerous friends who have purchased over the years. Be very careful with items you place on consignment here. I placed numerous high end art pieces here in October because I was moving from South Florida to Seattle. At one point, I had a friend go to the store and ask for my items back after I had emailed them to tell them she was coming. They couldn't find the items and asked me to call them. When I called, they asked if I'd like to continue because they felt the other items would sell and that I didn't need to extend the contract. When I called this week, they said my contract had expired and that the remaining items were somewhere in their stores, but it would be like 'finding a needle in a haystack' to locate them. However, IF I found them, I could have them back. Well...I live in Seattle, so to fly to Palm Beach to find a needle in a hay stack is not practical. One of the pieces was a huge signed/numbered lithograph by Jamie Wyeth, so I find it unbelievable that they don't know where it's located. It was bad enough that I received so little money for the items that were sold, but it now appears that the remaining items have been stolen from me. It would seem that they could have notified me by email or phone call about the items expiring. Don't trust these people. read more

Do NOT consign your things here. I had thousands of dollars of very high end furniture that when it sold in February I was told I would get my check in April, when it finally arrived in May it was short. There was no accounting for what sold. I had a $6000 sofa someone on phone in February said they sold for 800. I've never seen a dime for. No return calls, ignored emails and basically they stole some of my items with zero explanation. I wish I would. Have just donated to charity. The aggravation and wasted time so not worth it. Short story: I would not recommend to anyone because they are disorganized, rude and inappropriate. Long story: I called three weeks ago to consign a few pieces of furniture. I was transferred around to several people who could not answer questions or help me, then I was told to contact the owner. The owner asked the same questions everyone else had asked (do they not tell him why they sent me to him?) and asked me to text him photos and measurements, which I did, and he said he would call me right back. He did not call me back. When I tried to call the store to follow up, they told me to call the owner. Then, EIGHT DAYS LATER AT SIX IN THE MORNING, the owner texted me "did you arrange for a pick up?" I called the store while they were open and spoke with Patricia, who was very nice and apologized for the confusion and told me she was leaving instructions that we would call before we came to drop off the furniture and that it had been pre approved. Fast forward to this morning when we called to tell them we were coming by: they transferred the call around several times and told us we couldn't bring anything they hadn't approved. We explained that the owner had approved it already and sent pictures and explained that we were just telling them we were coming. Ultimately, my husband was called a liar because they had never heard of us. Thank you for wasting our time. We will never again try to buy or sell with your company. read more

Love this store! Bought many amazing and unique pieces of furniture and accessories. Tremendous variety that constantly changes. Excellent knowledgeable and friendly staff. Worth the trip just to see the huge amount of inventory that spans 3 separate storefronts. Go, you won't be disappointed. Never consign your items there. Do better donate to charity, otherwise the Pirates will steal it. I left 2 paintings, and they were supposed to contact me by email once sold. Never contacted me! After many visits finally they told me that one item was sold but because it took so long it dropped from $150 to $22 dollars! It was never mentioned that after some time I would loose my paintings. I asked about the second picture and after long time looking at one store and the other they informed that it was probably donated... Probably to the Pirates!! If you consign something there, be prepared to loose your goods. I encourage other people that left items there to report their experience. read more

I've been going to this store for many years and all I can say is.... "They ain't what they use to be! She'd be disappointed! ". I showed up with "cash" in hand and there were six items I would have purchased but they weren't priced. I asked about them and was told that those items came in yesterday and other people were already interested in those items. Well I would of bought them then and there and if they came in yesterday, how did they get stacked in that tight little space overnight and not get priced? I can see the items in their extra storage space not being priced but when asking for them to be priced so that I could purchase them, was told that they are already reserved for someone else! I was told this place went downhill with the new owners but didn't believe it until I witnessed it myself! read more

On Sunday I went to the True Treasures Northlake location and got the most amazing help from Katie! She was able to pick up my taste after pointing out just one or two items I liked! She was so knowledgeable on where other pieces I would like were and even the best transport options for them! I went in on Saturday looking for a unique mirror for my house. I was amazed by the selection they had! I had a tremendous woman, her name was Katie, help me not only look for a mirror but also show me some of the beautiful items that are on display. We sent pictures of the items that we wanted to consign. Paul Lanzetta told us to bring them in and made an appointment for 4/17/18. Today, when we arrived at the appointment time, we were told he was on vacation and someone else could help us. A guy came up front from the back and told us they would pay us 40% and they keep 60% if the item sold in 100 days. After that, we would receive 25%. They wanted us to leave the items and they would price them and get back to us in 5 days. We should have read some of the Google reviews first, we could have saved a lot of time, by not going there! read more

Sold my things & the money came in! I have used other consignment operations in the Palm Beach area and True Treasures is by far the BEST! The key is you have to be honest with yourself. You're selling used items, you'll never get crazy returns unless your items are in immaculate shape. Otherwise you just have to be realistic. True Treasures has always been very honest with me & I am very happy to use them as a partner for selling my things. I recommend them to all of my friends! read more
