MAN does it pain me to write this review. I've had a love affair with Von Maur for over a decade…read more And boy, oh boy do I miss my random shopping getaways pre-pandemic. It has been my go-to for formal wear, Iowa Hawkeye gear, shoes, accessories, swimwear and more over the years. But this summer they changed their return policy. I think a lot of it is pretty standard... - Return within 90 days with a receipt: Receive purchase price back to original form of payment - Return after 90 days with receipt or anytime with a gift receipt: Receive purchase price as merchandise credit only. - Return without a receipt: Receive current selling price as merchandise credit only. My issue with this change is with their new FINAL SALE policy. - They cut the tags off your brand new items to ensure you can't return them. Therefore my newly purchased, never worn item that I just so happened to score a great deal on... looks not new. Possible pre-owned. What if I planned to gift someone that item? Don't they deserve to know it hasn't been worn and is right off the rack? (Or in my case, I got a supposedly unworn bikini without any tags... which was unexpected. And kind of weirded me out.) If you need to scribble on the tag, over the barcode-- go for it. But I go to Von Maur for the experience and the unique items sold there. It is tacky and off brand to send new items sans tag. (And when I contacted customer service to express my opinion about said two piece. I was basically shrugged off.) I buy plenty of thrift items for myself and even they include a tag... just sayin. This would be a two star, just because of how I feel about the new changes. But I still stand by Von Maur as a quality store. This change may stop me from getting certain items here now. (#shopsmall, #shoplocal) But it shouldn't deter you from getting full-priced items here!

Boom. I popped on to peruse shirts, pants, hats, cashmere, necklaces and more. Ultimately, I found gifts for the man in my life. Who knew? While Catherine's is primarily a women's boutique-- they do have some quality items for men. I ordered. And had it delivered for free on my door step mere days later. Catherine has got it going on. (Eco-Friendly, Hand-Made, Small Biz, Woman Owned... etc) It got me inspired. With Mother's Day a whopping THREE weeks away-- I figured I'd both support my local woman-owned small biz and get a gift or two to make a mom in my life feel seen, loved and appreciated. This review is for an online shopping experience at Revival. Their site is easy to use. I love the tabs...from new to sale items. Gifts for under $25 tab, too. They've got a little bit of something for everyone-- but compared to the store, selection is a bit limited. With the lovely lady in my life being 70+ and growing more fearful by the day of this pandemic-- I opted for the Cold & Flu Blend of essential oils. Practical, yet thoughtful. (Annnnnd... I may have gotten something for myself. HEY. I'm a mom, too! Revival has a WONDERFUL Free People selection.) I made my two purchases... got to the dreaded shipping options... and saw all local deliveries are free! I got my package a mere TEN HOURS after ordering it. (Even with a text informing me it had been left on my step.) Support local. Support small. Support women-owned. Support retail during this crazy time. Oh, and don't forget to spoil your momma. Shop Revival!

I went to return them two weeks later when I had time and they let me know they don't accept returns after 10 days even tho they had tags on and clearly had not been worn. The lady at the counter wasn't outwardly rude but was not at all trying to help, had no wiggle room just happy to have made a sale?On top of that they donate towards a women's clinic that performs abortions- I'd rather not send money towards murdering babies in the womb so I won't be shopping here again.

I looked around for about 20 min before an employee acknowledged me (it's a pretty small store), and then she welcomed me in as if I had just walked in. Don't bother looking for anything a size 12 or higher, there's not going to be much. Which is odd, as the company promotes diversity and inclusion. Overall vibe is weird, but the clothing is a favorite of mine. I'm probably not going to come back to this particular store, and just stick to online.

I typically shop online but am trying to do more local shopping. Today I had a pair of leggings to return so I made the trip down hoping to buy something else I haven't been brave enough to order online. After slowly paroozong through the entire store, having 2 employees walk past me without saying a word I returned my crops and left. One laughed as I tried to "pull" instead of "push" the door open on my way out. Terrible service for such an outstanding company and product. I won't be back.
