Clean Slate Construction's guys are titans among men!…read more I hired them to remediate dry rot in my house. They gave me an amazing estimate and once I signed on the dotted line they came, set up, did all the work, and cleaned up after only a week! What I loved is that they arrived on time every day, didn't stand around wasting time, didn't leave the job site for extended periods of time, brought their own portapotty, were friendly and respectful to our family, considerate of my kids (one of whom has severe special needs), explained what they were doing in a thorough but not condescending way, and they cleaned up every day after that day's work. Best of all was the quality of work. I'm no expert but I can tell when construction work is bad and I'm being BS'ed versus when it's good. And Clean Slate's work was very good. I've already hired them for another job at my house, and that should say it all.

The workmanship, materials and overall handling were excellent. Ron Green himself contacted me every single day before his team arrived, letting me know exactly what to expect. That level of communication is incredibly helpful during a build or remodel and , sadly, very rare. So many contractors simply show up - or don't - without any notice at all. Not so with Ron. His reliability, attention to detail, and respect for the homeowner made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I would not hesitate to recommend Ceramic Designs by Ron Green

I had my kitchen cabinets made at Mandina's in 2010. Mitch was in the middle of retiring, and Scott…read morewas taking over. Within one year, the cabinets began to chip and peel, and I was told it was because of water. Scott repainted one small section in front of the sink. It began to peel again in a short time. I called him again, but he was not receptive to repainting any more. I became obsessed with keeping the cabinets dry, which is hard to do in a kitchen. Now, ten years later, paint is peeling off everywhere, and not near water areas. I am so disappointed. These cabinets are beautiful, and I love them, but many sections need to be redone. I had my laundry room redone a few years ago by a different cabinet maker. They are also painted. So far, not one chip, no evidence at all of the paint degrading. I can tell it is a far superior paint job. I know a step had to be skipped in my paint job at Mandina's now that I have a comparison. I am so disappointed.

They were paid generously throughout the…read moretime they worked here - even as they ran way over their original budget with more than 25% (not including the owner's change orders). Nevertheless, halfway into the project they left the job site without warning (while we were on business travel in Europe). We have later discovered that work that was supposed to be done was really not done; that the electrical and plumbing work was so badly done it had to be redone from scratch, that the framing did not conform to specs, causing serious compromises on the design details, etc.. Bottom line: stay away from these guys!

Our initial agreement was to select a color palette that created a 'cabin in a National Park' feeling. The color choices were perfect and the further along we got the more we asked her to take on. Paint colors, cabinet refinishing, hardware selection, custom closet build in, overhead beams, curtains, lighting fixtures, new garage door, carpet and LVP flooring. She managed all the subcontractors, scheduling and sign offs. Invoices were clear and reasonable. We never would have gotten this far or been as happy if we had tried to do ourselves. It was totally worth it, and we will be back for her expertise when we are ready to tackle the bathrooms. Grace is personable and easy to work with. Give her a call to go from 'meh' to WOW!
