It was terribly dark in the room. We dry-walled over the paneling and painted it off-white. They did a huge thing for the ceiling, It had to be cleaned, tons of masking, shellacked and painted with numerous coats to cover. It looks so beautiful now. I can't stop looking at it. So I looked through several spots, and found that Empire painting is so highly rated, and I can verify that they deserve every compliment. They took care of everything as if it were their own, using tape and paper and drop cloths to protect the floors and counters and window glass, and put on two coats over two days because it was Very Dark before. The kitchen now looks fantastic, and feels twice as large and so open. They finished the kitchen exactly when they said, and the price was exactly what was quoted. And then for a bonus! They had a bit of extra time today, and I hired them to paint the walls in a small bedroom....I've newly moved in and it had a musty smell. Steve gave me a good and fair price, and Forrest put on two coats, and Wow! another great job. Everything was left spotless, too, in both areas!
