I went for the first time today and will not be back. I got a mani pedi and the lady doing my pedicure kept cutting my skin around my nails even after I said "ow" and jerked my foot away after about 10 more times she proceeded to laugh when I reacted to her cutting my skin. As far as my manicure, they left a gap between my cuticle and where the polish started so it looks like my nails have already grown out. I asked them to redo it before I left and the guy got an attitude proceeded to "redo" it but there's still a gap. Extremely let down and disappointed with this place. read more

Let me start by saying it's a beautiful salon with good customer service. I've seen the same tech several times and she is very kind. I'vgone to nail salons for years for mani/pedis. I understand an occasional small nick of the cuticle during trimming will happen and I usually leave with one or two. Yesterday I left with three bloody spots on my fingers and a sore toe from the cuticle being pulled all the way down the side of my toe. It really hurt. I took a photo as soon as I got in the car of the most significant injury on my finger. I've kept antibiotic ointment and a bandaid on both and am hoping for no infection. I try to be reasonable but I will not return to this salon. This is unacceptable technique. read more

OMG This is the worst Nail Salon Ever!!! I have gone there one day, and Cindy the owner was in the back room. After fifteen minutes I asked someone to tell her that I was here. Soooo she comes out, did not even say hello to me. She was on an ear piece talking to someone. Well she talked to this person the entire time of my Appointment!!! Over a hour, and fifteen minutes!!!! I was getting a migraine. After she was done I gave her my credit card, and she had the nerve to tell me where to put the tip in for her. I laughed, and said really???? You want a tip after you talked on the phone to someone for the entire time of my Appointment??? I gave her $1.00 . I even thought that was too much!!! Also I was there a week earlier, and had a pedicure. Well I have a fungus on four of my toes. They don't clean the instruments after each client. I still have the fungus, and it won't go away!!! I can speak for both myself and my grandmother that this nail salon is great! My grandmother has been going to this place for probably 5+ years. She always makes her appointment with Tony. Tony does a phenomenal job (pedicure & manicure) and there's always great conversation. I can honestly say that her pedicure is the best I've ever had. I was in the area visiting my grandmother yesterday and went in to get a shellac manicure. I had my appointment set with Tony, but unfortunately she was sick that day. I ended up having my nails done by a young girl named New. She was also great and did an excellent job. The manicure was also only $25! Which is definitely doable. Just a couple of tips - the place is always crowded, so I would definitely try and make an appointment if you can. They do take walk ins, but you might be waiting for a bit. Plenty of parking no need to worry about that, and it's also located right next to the bulk store - so go get some snacks for afterwards! :) read more

My sister got her nails done at this location for the first time and I couldn't believe when she told me she paid for the bad service. I understand that cuts can happen but after being scraped and cut the nail tech dotted nail glue over the cuts to stop the bleeding. I was appalled at how unprofessional and unsanitary this was. I wish she had spoke up because the pictures don't do justice. She also said they charged her for "coffin" shape but they turned out squared. Her pedicure was also not matching as she asked and just overall a bad service. Hope this review helps them in being more careful. read more

Terrible service. Rude and uncalled for comments. I came to the salon for the first time with my mother in law for a girls day out and stood at the front counter for 15 minutes. It was a Saturday about 3:30pm. No one greeted us, but we seen everyone was busy so we didn't mind waiting. Finally someone asked what we wanted, and I said 'pedicure'. They just pointed to the back. As I was walking to the back a nail guy said 'and if you have a problem with the wait you can go somewhere else!' I turned around and said 'I've said nothing about waiting so...??' Not knowing where to sit in the back, what to do, I picked a random pedicure chair. Not sure of how long the wait was, I asked the girl next to me who also didn't have a foot soak going but several didn't have foot soaks either, 'how long and is it always like this?' The customer stated there was 4 people ahead of me. So after 15 minutes I left. WHY would I sit somewhere for 30+ minutes after someone made uncalled for comments, and not being greeted. Then you want me to hand you $40? Heck no. I finally told the guy, who was rude to me, I don't wanna be here and left! Never will I step foot in this place again! Went there for the first time on Monday morning! I just walked in and signed in then waited about 10 minutes and I was already seated!! Since it was my first time ever at a nail salon I did not really know what to do, so I showed the nail tech what colors I wanted and the shape I wanted and he did amazing!! It breaks my heart to have to write this but, it must be done. My mom and I have been going there for over a year and haven't had any issues. My family was here and I scheduled for 8 pedicures and most everyone got manicures, dip, or full set. My mom and I have always had good people but never the owner. My niece had the owner and she wanted a natural look using the dip. It costs $45 and her nails and it was horrible. She asked her fix them and she still didn't fix it. She should have completely redone them because she pretty much took all the dip off by sanding them. She refused to give a refund, knowing she messed them up. Sadly, my mother and I will find somewhere else to go knowing that if they messed up beyond fixing, they won't start over and redo or refund. read more

I just decided to have acrylic nails again after quite a few years. It is a love/hate thing for me. I tried another salon in the area and while I loved the technician, I wasn't happy with the result. My nails were very thick and "blocky." I was not asked what shape I wanted and as I am a non-confrontational, people pleaser I do not stand up for myself. I realize the end result was 100% my fault for not speaking up. My nails were not well done. There were bumps and inconsistencies. I decided to give this salon a try after looking through their pictures. I was placed with Thomas. I told him upfront what shape I wanted (yeah me!) and I was absolutely amazed at the result. He did such a fantastic job. My nails are smooth, not overly thick, and absolutely perfect! I cannot recommend him enough. I am very disappointed. I decided to give this place another try and boy was I wrong. They have lost it most of the workers are rude. Went to get my nails done was told 20 mins wait took 1 hrs. Then I sat n arguing with the owner husband as to how I wanted my nails. The refill started wrong as he picked at my nails before he filled. It hasn't been two weeks and one of my nails he picked off to fill has now has a fungus. Went to get them soak off and again the husband is arguing with me I'm telling me I'll take them off with out soaking them. And he was being rough and said I should go to someone else. At this point I have 3 nails with fungus and they said it's my fault. The nails are default for you to get off and it's my fault I have infected nails. I won't recommend. Johnny is very good if you're in a hurry as he's lightening fast and also massages your hands. Thomas is very funny and speaks English extremely well. I am very disappointed at the service my daughter and I received today. I went in today for the SNS on my nails and my daughter only needed a repair. Nancy did my nails, which I liked. She said she could do my daughters repair but didn't say that she couldn't duplicate the design. She put the nail on my daughter and painted it white. Didn't say that she couldn't do the design. When I tried to talk to her she had already started on someone else's nails and when I asked if she could do some type of design she said she was too busy and the lady that she was working on had to be at work @1. First of all that's not my problem, we were there first and she didn't finish on my daughter. She just ignored me as I was standing there trying to talk to her. I hate to say this because I've come here for years, but the service has just gone downhill in those years. It was mine and my friends favorite place to go, and they really let us down this time. More than the last few times. We sat in the pedicure chairs for 45 minutes before someone actually came to service us. Another woman came after us and was serviced before us, and finished before we got started. The woman that did my toes clipped my big toe too much and now I have an ingrown nail. And the woman that did my friends toes walked away in the middle of the pedicure for like 10 minutes. Just got up and walked away, very unprofessional. I hate to write this because I love some of the girls that have worked there for a long time, but the newer girls are not very professional. I came with 3 other people for a pedicure and they did the rest of my party's pedicures before mine. They wouldn't even turn my water on for me, they made some kind of excuse as to why they couldn't let my feet soak while I waited. After sitting there for an hour without even water on my feet, they finally said they would do mine but everyone else in my party was done and about to leave so I left without getting a pedicure. My friend I came with said that her pedicure was terrible, the girl hardly scrubbed her feet at all, didn't ask about callous remover or offer to add any additional features. Since moving to the area I have been to True Nails several times and have been satisfied. However, upon going this morning for a mani/pedi (a reasonable $35)I was pleasantly surprised by a number of things. First of all, everyone's foot "tub" was lined with a thin, disposable liner and then filled with water. No more keepingers crossed about cleanliness. Second, there is a friendly, efficient gentleman, by the name of Valentine, who is greeter, appointment maker and "traffic manager" who seems to make things run smoothly with little effort. Made my appointment 3 weeks in advance to go to the girl I wanted to do my nails (I'm a repeat customer). I arrived on time, had to wait 30 minutes. She asked me what I wanted, so I said the same thing - I get pink and white ombre acrylic nails. Half way in, I noticed she's finishing up without applying the white powder (my current set was 6 weeks old, much due for fresh white tips). So I asked her to please do the entire job that I booked the appointment for. She flat out refused to do it, telling me she has another appointment after me. The salon wasn't busy, there was no one waiting - and even if it was, I'm not a customer? Not only was my appointment booked THREE WEEKS in advance, I had to wait 30 minutes just to get started. I've been coming to this place for quite some time, and I'm the kind of person who'll tip $15 on a $30 dollar job, so no, I'm not "a Karen".
