In the middle of June I got a Celtic design about 8 inches long that has healed very nice so far and I love the look. That being said, I have never felt so uncomfortable at a tattoo shop and I have a whole sleeve and back pieces done as well so I've been in a few. Carl was so rude from the time I walked in to the time I left. He made terrible comments on my other tattoos and told me the WHOLE TIME how shitty they would look in 10 years and that I made poor choices. He proceeded to point out every single flaw that he considered my tattoos to have - including things which are intended and not flaws. He told me that a tree that I have looks like weeds and that "he just doesn't understand it". I love every single tattoo I've ever gotten and I will continue to go back to the shop I go to for all of my future work. I will never go back here again simply because of Carl. He also took frequent cigarette breaks (3 in the 2 hours I was there) and continued to tattoo while breathing the smoke at me. He was one of the cockiest people I've ever met in my life and talked so much crap about other tattooers and other people the whole entire time I was there. I actually cried when I got home and he made me regret getting tattoos in the first place. Seriously do NOT go to Carl if you don't want to cry lol. This is not about Matt at all- I've heard beyond great things about him but I'll never go back simply because of Carl.

He is so incredibly chill and just an all around dope guy. Besides his character, he has the most steady hand I've ever come across. I'm thoroughly impressed with every piece he does.
