We sampled several martial arts programs in the area before finding this school. Many other programs involved loud music with less directed movements that were more like aerobic exercises than martial arts. Master Hong's program is traditional Korean Tae Kwon Do, and focuses on forms, sparring, advancement and respect. I have seen my son set goals and work towards them. I see his motivation grow as he progresses. He is very proud of the ranks he attains and is willing to put in the work to get better. He is almost always glad to put down his electronics and come to class two nights a week (it's probably the only thing that he prefers to YouTube and Fortnite!).
