Called on 2/27/18 and spoke with Gabriella who goes by Gabi, in regards to looking at a property we are having a drainage issue with. She was going to have Eddy go by the property & get back with me. 2 days went by & I followed up with Gabriella, for her to tell me that he didn't go by because he needs someone to be @ the property. I reached out to True Dreams Lawn Service about a sprinkler system problem I was having. They were there about an hour later trouble shooting, found the problem and fixed the expeditiously. Eddie took the time to explain what he was doing to correct the problem. He also went ahead and inspected the rest of the irrigation system to make sure no other problems were present. They play games. Was calling back to give deposit but they literally hung up on me five times. Apparently didn't like that I had to ask to call back, so picked up five times and hung up on me. They also demand a $150 bid to inspect your system. Maybe I'm hard of hearing but it sounded like TruGreen so don't be fooled. read more

Started off good, and to be fair I'm have high expectations especially when I pay for a service. Yet after being blown off with calls, cutting septic line with grass trimmer, damaging lawn and inconsistencies with lawn maintenance, I agree with reviews in here that describes rudeness and game playing. I ended up having to pay or do finishing work myself. I personally didnt have time for it! I highly recommend the services of Mr. Eddy, owner of True Dreams Irrigation and lawn service. He exceeded my expectations in quality of service through honesty and experience. I thought for certain that my $1200 irrigation pump would have to be replaced from hurricane flooding on Lake Conroe, but was reassured by Eddy that he could get it up and running again for me, which he immediately did for a very minimal fee. He was through in evaluating all of the operations of my irrigation system along with sprayer heads without me having to request that this additional service be preformed. I admire and respect the responsible code of ethics and expertise that Eddy offered me along with his minimal charges. read more

If I could rate them no stars, I would. After almost two years of doing business with True Dreams, I am highly disappointed with this service, so much more than I ever expected. I hired them to complete landscaping and light trimming of my shrubs and trees. I did not think that the trees really needed it, but I trusted their judgement because this is the business they are in and the owner recommended it. I never imagined this could go wrong. I will preface this by saying they are not certified arborists nor are they properly trained to complete this type of work. I realized this after I had a professional come and look after my trees to restore the life of my trees since it was confirmed to me by professionals that my trees were indeed overly trimmed, especially the tree on the front yard. For reference, True Dreams left my shrubs completely bare and they trimmed off perfectly healthy live branches that used to create a nice shade in front of my house by my window. It has left my front window in full display with little privacy and I have no shade. Again, not everybody is certified to complete this kind of work. Do your research; contact a professional! Also, when I expressed my concerns to the owner, he was highly unprofessional and he stated to me verbatim, "it isn't like we can glue the branches back together. " He specified that it was completed this way to give display of my property and so the tree can grow straight up. I didn't agree and when I checked with an arborist, he said that that is not necessarily what needs to happen to keep a tree healthy. Furthermore, True Dreams also gave me a hard time for discontinuing service with them because of one mistake they made. I told him that there was no way to correct the damage it caused, and the branches are not going to grow back. In the neighborhood I live in, the trees I'm sure have something to do with the value of the property. The greenery is the heart and beauty of this Conroe/Woodlands area. It is possible that this experience has affected the value of the home comparable to other properties' fresh landscaping in my neighborhood. I have worked all my life to be able to afford a nice house, and it is very disappointing that people can carelessly change the whole view of a property with simple steps. As if that was not enough, the way I was treated was rudely and disrespectfully, and not once did I receive an apology from the owner, I only got reproached for discontinuing my service with them. For your information, once I did my research with other businesses for Lawn Service, landscaping and tree pruning, I discovered the cost of service by True Dreams to be unusually expensive in comparison.
