Sorry you didn't approve of my review. The girls were sneering BEFORE I walked in and were completely rude. The coffee was among the worst I've ever had and my review was honest and generous. Customer service goes a long way and there was no reason for the attitude they had when I walked in this business. Do you train them to determine the mood of each customer based on the first two seconds they walk in the door? No? I can tell. Don't blame the less than 5 star review on me. Take responsibility, make changes, ignore it, but don't blame me for giving an honest account of my experience. That's what Yelp is for. If the coffee shop was worth 5 stars I would have rated it as such. I remember my attitude very clearly when I walked in that door. I was excited and having a wonderful day. I was excited to give this coffee shop a try and I was hoping to find a local gem and someplace I could make a regular stop. Your unfortunately misguided and rude reply just really drives home that I wasn't amiss in my assessment of the coffee and attitude of this place. Pour some more sugar in that coffee so people can keep drinking it.

Just what Lyndon needed! I'm quickly becoming a regular at this stylish, modern, and well run shop. It's perfect for coffee with friends, a spot to post up and work remotely, or lunch. The soups and baked goods are to die for!

Had the Turkey sandwich and broccoli cheese soup! Excellent! Co workers had Chicken salad and Strawberry spinach salad. All rave reviews. Highly recommended!

I had my family with me and a lot of the locals stopped by to chat especially to say hi to all my girls- it was so sweet! We were there on a random Friday, and it surprisingly wasn't busy, but I could see it getting crowded on a Saturday morning! It seems like they had a lot of seating though. It was hard to pick what to eat, but I ended up with a classic breakfast and it didn't disappoint! Definitely wouldn't mind stopping by again if I'm in town!

First of all, it should be noted that this is a super popular local spot in Louisburg so be prepared to wait if you roll in on a weekend morning. When we arrived we had to wait a bit but it wasn't bad as the place is bigger than it seems. Once seated we were treated to what I'd describe as homemade comfort food. Miss B's feels very much like small town cafes that I visited around Kansas when I was travelling and working for the state. What stands out here is the friendliness of the staff, especially since we weren't locals, and the variety of food on the menu. Overall this is a great spot to visit if you are in the area. Food is good, folks are friendly, and it gets you into town to explore Louisburg a bit. I'd recommend this place for breakfast or lunch as it's very casual, and the atmosphere definitely lends itself much more to earlier meal times.

It's as what you expect, a restaurant at a travel plaza. The menu was extensive, business medium, and the service was decent. For lunch I ordered a grilled chicken Caesar salad, and a side of fried pickles. Both were pretty good! The pickles were breaded and fried well, unlike other places. The salad was great, and they gave you a lot of salad dressing on the side. My only complaint is that I was not given any silverware, and had to ask a different server for some. I would for sure go back though, as the burger looked amazing.

Great eating affordable $$. With great service too. We couldn't eat it all so had great for home box. We drive from KC to eat here and will certainly come back.

We were told it was okay to sit in the back room, so we did. It was about halfway through dinner…read morerush. The lady who told us we could sit in the back followed us back but didn't offer us menus or anything. We sat for probably at least 10 minutes as staff came and went stocking the freezers and such. Finally located menus. Finally a server brought another table their food and noticed us sitting there. I ordered a mushroom swiss burger with fries, which was on special for $5. Mom ordered a ham salad and paid $2 upcharge to add egg. The food came out a lot faster than it took to order it. The burger and curly fries were very good, especially considering the price. The salad had a lot of toppings, and a bit of cut ham. The $2 egg was a sliced boiled egg that they'd forgotten until she reminded the server. The big salad was served on a small plate, which made it difficult to mix up and corral as Mom ate it. I'm not much of a fan of shredded lettuce, but at least their lettuce did seem very fresh. I can see why they stay busy with those special lunch prices. The food was quite good for the price. It's not anything fancy, but seemed clean and more popular than the other restaurants in town.

It gets even better... When we entered we noticed a sign that they were closing early for a day or two for a wedding. After we ate we drove to the tall grass prairie National Park for a hike. When we returned I realized that I had left my charge card at the restaurant. We drove over on the chance that someone might be staying late for clean up but no such luck. While parked out front getting ready to call and cancel the card a relative of the owner came from next door to check on us. She had her hair up in a scarf getting ready for the wedding festivities. She opened up and found my card and had her grandson run it out to me. Saved me a lot of headaches. Love Saddlerock! Great food and great people. Next morning, wedding day, we ate at another breakfast spot with a line of grumpy locals who were wishing Saddlerock was open. WE are wishing the newlyweds a great future.

A true hidden gem in Kansas…read more The menu brings a vintage Route 66 vibe with a classic Kansas twist that makes the whole experience feel nostalgic in the best way. Everything is made fresh to order, so don't expect a quick in-and-out meal unless you call ahead. The wait is part of the process, and honestly, it shows in the quality. If you are vegan or vegetarian, there are a few things to be aware of. The menu can be a bit misleading. The grill top and utensils are shared with meat, and all fried food is cooked in beef tallow. That means fried items are not vegan or vegetarian. If cross contamination is a concern, I recommend letting the staff know so they can change gloves and sticking with options like a salad without meat toppings. The staff was extremely friendly and happy to answer questions, which made navigating the menu much easier. I didn't notice a microwave, and it was pretty busy during my visit, but it might be worth asking if the black bean or vegan patty can be prepared separately. There are gluten free and keto options on the menu. Others in my group really enjoyed their meals, and my salad was fresh presented well. I would definitely come back. I just wish there were more clearly food prepseparated options for vegetarian and vegan dishes so more people could fully enjoy what they offer. OH and if you dare, there is a food challenge with their habanero sauce!

The place gave me a fast casual eatery vibe but also a little feel of grandma's house because of this small glass showcase they had with some items in it. All food items are priced decently. I got the blackened fish with rice and fries and my husband got the Hornet Burger with fries. Both dishes were really good. The fish was cooked just right, moist and seasoned really well. The burger was also done perfectly with a juicy tasty patty. Fries were fresh and crispy...cherry on top!! Service was quick and the staff was very sweet. The restaurant was also very clean. They even have some of their own sauces and salsas for sale, plus some grab-and-go options which is nice and convenient especially for college students. Note - they also have a Do-B's reaper burger challenge which sounds fascinating. However, I don't ever think i will be able to try it ever Haha. To conclude - 5/5 for me.
