I can actually get free memberships at several local gyms through my insurance, but I'd rather pay to go here. It's a more mature crowd, with most people either doing some sort of rehab or physical fitness. It's not a social club or hang out, everyone is serious about what they're doing. I don't have much experience in gyms, but from what I see, they have plenty of cardio machines (treadmills, crossfits, arm ergos, upright and reclining bikes) as well as weight stations with both plate weights and resistance. There are free weights as well and all kinds of support stuff like mats, stretch bands, etc. The place is spotless, with constant cleaning going on, and everyone seems to take the time to wipe their stations down after use. I don't use these areas, but they have beautiful locker rooms, showers, basketball courts and a pool that is half indoor/half outdoor. The staff is friendly and helpful, and available for personal training if you desire. They have tons of classes from spin to balance. Downstairs, there is an advanced weight training room. I go three times a week and always look forward to it. I highly recommend you check them out.

Since then, it has progressively gotten to a point where it is the worst it has ever been. The only cleaning this gym gets is the employees empty the trash. All the other cleaning is left to the members who are good about wiping down the machines. However don't look at the floor, vents, or corners, or the lower parts of any machine, as they have not been cleaned in months. I have pictures I have taken of crumbs by a machine in the open that has been there for months. Its so dirty, i decided it was time to give the new Planet Fitness a try. It is not a mat, its the base of a podium type stand next to the cubicles by the front entrance. It does look like it hasn't been cleaned in 2 years though . Not sure who the new management is since you have been there for years. You have obviously chosen to ignore the cleanliness of the gym, as I am not talking about it being dirty from overnight, I am talking and showing pictures of things that have not been cleaned in months. It's open 24 hours & you reserve your classes on the app. They have 5 sauna rooms for what they call ISO classes (different workouts like yoga, Pilates, barre) & 3 for HIIT classes (cycle, rowing, sitting elliptical). You can book as many classes as you want & you just show up & follow the video. You're almost always alone in the sauna, so it's like a private workout. They also have an area for weights with dumbbells, kettlebells, a cable machine & TRX. Lastly, the owner & all of the staff are super nice & welcoming regardless of your fitness level. They're always smiling & greet you when you walk in & leave. I always see them cleaning too. Overall, this is an excellent option for someone that likes flexibility with scheduling & likes to workout alone (although I have seen friends & couples take classes together). 100/10 recommend.
