I wanted to take the opportunity to share my experience with George Coleman Ford last week or so…read more Sales Representative Cole Smith provided us with excellent communication and openness. I will be the first to admit, I am very old school with direct honestly on my needs and intentions. My whole goal was to lower my monthly payment, lower my car insurance and lower my personal property tax. I was forthcoming and provided numbers of where I was at. Cole had my vehicle valued and gave me some good numbers which I felt were fair. We initially looked at two vehicles which met our budget and goal. But I saw a bright ruby red car that really caught my eye. Cole said it was a bit out of our price range but he would talk to his manager while we test drove it. When we got back to the dealership, Cole had all the information ready and where we were in the range of the three criteria. Honestly at my old age, this was by far the best experience trading in and buying a vehicle. I highly recommend if you need/want a vehicle go see Cole Smith at George Coleman Ford. Be honest what you want and he will treat you right.

I was dealing with Brandon Vaughan and after I gave him my…read moreinformation for approval, he never responded to my text or calls. I had to call the dealership to reach him. I can accept I was not approved. What I cant accept is that I was not even worth the response or a call back to notify me. When I called it immediately went to voicemail. I was not worth the text. I have been in sales selling everything from homes to insurance and most popular products. I treated everyone with respect and knowing they could be my FUTER CLIENT! When I asked what the decision was he was curt and very short with me. Unless you have what it takes to be approved you will get a fake ( Nice guy) If you don't have what it takes for the bank approval, you will be worthless to him.

Touhami was exceptionally professional, helpful, and informative throughout the entire process. He…read moremaintained great communication from start to finish, and we feel we got a fantastic deal on our new 4Runner. Touhami's outstanding service is the sole reason we completed the purchase, 5/5 excellent service. Unfortunately, our experience in the finance department was the complete opposite. Ed and Alex were passive-aggressive and made us feel like an inconvenience for asking basic questions. When we requested a printed copy of our sales paperwork, Alex became noticeably annoyed and dismissively told us they would just email it--even though I hadn't even provided the correct email address yet. We came very close to walking out twice due to the hostility in finance. If you buy here, ask for Touhami, but be prepared for a completely different environment once you reach the back office, 2/5 that's being generous.

The waiting area was filled with chatty people that we had lots in common with, which made our waiter easier!! We got to eat breakfast in the little cafe hiding out behind the dealership which was just ok, but it filled the need! You get more attention here than in a doctor's office!

I was in a bad spot and 10K Auto knew it - I was from out-of-state with a truck that was totaled…read more They were in position to take advantage of my situation if they so desired. I purposely waited a couple months before writing this review because I wanted to leave time for the car I bought to prove itself trustworthy, which it has. 10K Auto did right by me when they didn't have to. This car has been great. I'm very pleasantly surprised.

I would give zero stars if possible…read more.. I bought a 2006 nissian murano with 101,000 miles on it, in February from them. (yes I know it's an '06 my prior car was on '06 and had 0 issues) I had it inspected and showed them the work that was quoted to me, they went down 1,000 on the asking price. I have now spent almost $3,000 on repairs on this hunk of junk they sold me. They claim they will do repairs for half the price, when I needed the new tires and alignment (one of the repairs I told them needed to be done at purchasing) they quoted me the same price as another place but I would have had to leave my car with the for most of the day, where I was able to just sit and wait approx 1 hour at the other place. So they clearly lie about their cheaper repairs. With in less than a month of purchasing the vehicle I returned in literal tears of frustration and was completely blown off by the woman who works there as well as the mechanic. NOTHING was done to help when I gave them the fair chance to do something about this. (I also called when the owner left a reply on my google review giving me a number to " contact him directly" it was the stores generic number and he " wasn't there".) I fully believe they knew what they were doing mainly bc I told them about specific problems I noticed and my mechanic notice and they denied the problems. If you leave a bad review they will be snarky in their reply and act like they did nothing wrong instead of owning up to the "mistake" and try to fix them. I put mistakes in quotes bc we are all human, things happen. But this was clearly intentional on their part at this point. I will never purchase another vehicle from them! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!

I made the huge mistake of purchasing a 2010 Dodge Avenger from VP Auto in 2022. It has cost me…read morearound $3,000 in car repairs, over $300 in towing bills (more than a half dozen with AAA), and $100 in Ubers to finally accomplish the feat of having it start up for an entire week straight for the first time. I've replaced a starter, an alternator, battery, ignition switch, computer panel ignition repairs and countless diagnostic fees. The car did not crank three different times the first week I bought it. I called VP Auto and their attitude had dramatically changed in the week since I had paid them cash for the lemon. The manager was "on vacation" and never returned my call. The assistant manager did hint at SC's useless used car lemon law and stated "If I sold you a sick dog, you wouldn't expect me to pay the vet bill." He also informed me that it was most likely the mechanic shop's fault. Although, after that conversation I have used two more repair shops, mostly due to the various places I broke down, and finally the Big O' Dodge dealership. Luckily, I own another vehicle, a must if you purchase a car from VP Auto, so I missed little time from work. I was stranded several times after work though. There were warning signs from the day I bought it. The car was unwashed and covered in pollen when I arrived to pick it up. The interior was unvacuumed and filthy. It also had less than an 1/8 tank of gas. I can't clearly recall but, I'm almost certain it had floor mats when I test drove it. It most definitely did not at purchase though. I found the car online myself and all Carfax etc. checked out. I had never previously heard of VP Auto, but find it hard to believe I'm an isolated incident. While SC's used car lemon laws are horrible for the consumer there are a few resources. Among the useful ones I've found are: 1. BBB. 2. The SC Unfair Trade Practices Act 3. The Federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Hopefully this can help anyone else that's had the same experience here or elsewhere. My best advice to any potential buyers from VP Auto is to RUN....or you will be walking soon. Epilogue: After this original post and yet another wiring fix, it drove for about 3 more weeks before the water pump failed. I was not putting another penny into this car that I didn't have to. Unfortunately for me, I had to spend the next 2 plus years paying the car loan off.....and paying full coverage insurance to get the title on a car that didn't run before I could sell it for scrap! That day finally came this summer when the broken-down heap that I purchased from VP Autos was towed away after finally paying it off. Yippee. Worst financial mistake of my life.
