An Instagram post inspired me to visit, and I'm so glad I did! L O G I S T I C S: -no reservations needed -bring cash or be prepared to pay via Venmo or Zelle B E R R I E S: -there were flags to indicate rows with more ripe fruit and thus guide us. These flags, however, were presumably placed at their rows at the farm's opening. We did not arrive at the start, so they were not really reliable anymore. Staff still mentioned the flags, though. This was a little frustrating: We wasted a lot of time looking for ripe berries on the flagged rows with our little children. We finally found rows with more ripe berries, but they were not flagged rows. Staff, please move the flags throughout opening hours or check rows periodically before nudging patrons to go to flagged rows. -we picked several berries, but the blackberries were the most exceptional. My children devoured them. -I would love to pick flowers next time. They were absolutely stunning. G O O D T O K N O W: -wear close toed shoes -while not required, wearing long pants would be great (especially if you're going with toddlers who don't always look around them. There are some prickly plants) -you can feed chickens (they stay in their cage, though) -there are a variety of items to purchase, including kombucha! -the farm is open in the fall -no parking fee -don't forget a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses

Organic farm with strawberries blueberries raspberries and blueberries u-pick. The firm is not huge but it is sufficient for a good harvest experience. The organic strawberries are sweet $5/lbs. reasonable price, but the blackberries and blueberries are $10/lbs, this is way too expensive.

I love a seasonal activity so I decided to go berry picking here after seeing an Instagram ad. There were olalliberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries available to pick. The stuff Tru2Earth Farm grows is certified organic. My mom got some huge blackberries and especially loved the strawberries, while I spent a lot of time picking raspberries and olallieberries. We were happy to see there were plenty of berries for everyone. Maybe it's because we picked our ripe berries on a hot day, but I did find that our berries got soft pretty fast after bringing it home. They're still perfectly edible but I'd recommend enjoying/using your fruit quickly before it goes bad. There's no reservation required, free parking, and no admission fee. You can bring your own container to put your picked berries in but they do have some plastic buckets available. They might run out of buckets if you come later in the day though. They also have plastic containers for you to pack your berries in. A nice family owns the farm and can be seen working the farm stand or going around tending to the farm. I did think pricing for the olallieberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries was a bit steep at $10 per pound but they do lower it to $8 if you purchase 3 pounds and more. Strawberries were $5 per pound which I thought was reasonable. A surprise highlight from our visit was getting organic onions for $1 a pound at the farm stand. I'd definitely come back and recommend it to others.

I came here on a June morning with my mom and my daughter. We were greeted in a friendly manner and the owner I believe (wish I'd asked!) took great care to explain and point to where the juiciest berries would be. I've picked at Gizdich before but these berries were phenomenal!! The biggest, juiciest and most beautiful berries! We picked a lot and enjoyed them for over a week! They seemed to last longer than grocery store berries. They have flowers you can select, cut and make your own bouquet, and they have a chicken coop for children to feed the chickens. They provide food. We had a wonderful experience and I recommend it! They also sell honey, cucumbers, tomatoes etc.

Are far as picking berries goes, this place was the cream of the crop. It had rows to pick from , and all the fruits tastes delicious. When we went , we picked strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and elderberry. We never had an elder berry before but it tasted just like black berries . The ones I enjoyed the most were the strawberries and black berries . We went with our children, one almost 3 and one almost 5, and they picked all the berries by themselves. They even provide baskets to put your berries in. The children are allowed to eat the berries as they pick them. Adults are now supposed to , but we tried a few as we picked them with the kids and noone said anything . This is a great place if you have young ones and would like to try a different activity. The strawberries were around $10 total, and the berries around $15. We went with another family as well , and they even give you a package to take the berries home in. We will defiantly be back and I'm glad I was able to do this with my kids !

The experience at the farm was really fun. I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a u-pick experience. The family who owns the farm were really nice and accommodated for a lot of the things we need. All the vegetables were fresh and organic with prices that Were comparable, if not cheaper than the supermarkets. Our family had a lot of fun, and we will definitely come back in the future. This is a small local farm who support urban farming and sustainable agriculture. Bring your kids if you're looking for something fun to do. For this experience we only spent nine dollars. There are fresh flowers for sale too!

Such a lovely U-Pick Farm! Very kind and considerate owners and the farm had so much to offer - we picked all kinds of berries off season. It's a half an hour drive from San Jose which makes it a convenient U-Pick to rival the Santa Cruz and Half Moon Bay farms. My in-laws from India had a blast!

    Blueberries are small but sweet

This the only berrie farm thats open at night on Wednesday super nice friendly people i wish they make pie and I'm sold will come here again only 28 minutes away from san Jose without traffic

    Freshly picked strawberries!

But as my family…read moreand I was on my way to Gizdich Ranch for strawberries, we actually pass this Farm and was super curious about it. So on our way back home we went here and it was pretty cool. I didn't realize how close Morgan Hill was to the Cupertino/San Jose area (~30 miles or less). It was a great experience. The entrance to the parking lot is very clear but it's only one way so if you see parking just park there. I saw cars park on the highway road because it was full. First you check in to pay admission for adults ( kids under 4 feet are free) then they hand you the bucket and your on your way. It was a bit muddy because of the rain the past few days so make sure to wear shoes you don't care about. We were a bit lost as to where we were allowed to pull but we found our footing and it was a fun hour experience. You can eat the cherries as you pick. They don't care. There's a lot of cherries at the bottom of the tree as well as on top for the kids to pick. But because of the weather and rain I saw more baby cherries or cherries that weren't ready to ripe yet. Maybe next weekend it will be better. When you check out, they weigh it and bag it in a plastic bag for you. Morgan Hill downtown is very close to here so you could go there for lunch or walk around to complete your Morgan Hill experience but you'll probably have to make a UTURN to get there. Check online for hours!

Online Catalog offered 30 varieties to choose from for $10 a plant. However on the day, they offered 47 tomato varieties (see pic) The Local Makers Market event also had local owned business booths, from a flower van, champagne, crafts, olive oil booth, salsa booth, bath products like lotions and potions and likely a dozen more I can't recall. A food truck called "Pupusa Lady" and of course I ordered 2 empanadas. Delicious ! Parking was easy as one actually parks on the main road. Not sure if there was other parking. All in all, it was a warm breezy day and amazed how many ppl were buying these starter tomato plants. Even the owner was in the midst talking to customers. So glad they accepted plastic. Process was super easy as one finds the vanities, grab the pot (and free cardboard box, if needed), then walk to "cashier" table and pay. I bought 4 varieties : Brandywine, Nepal, Martha Washington and Tasmanian Chocolate. Tip: During the tomato season, This farm offers an honesty cart where they leave their beautiful tomatoes of the season on a cart outside and one pays based on prices and place payment in a lock box or similar. I haven't experienced that YET as tomato season is not yet here. But once summer arrives and on my way to the Gilroy Outlets, I'll be sure to buy fresh in season tomatoes.

They only do tastings during the summer months, so it is a bummer we can't go ahead until next year but we are totally already looking forward to it! Each ticket was $25 for adults, or anyone over 11 years old. Children under 11 are free and there are discounted prices for seniors. I want to take bet that we probably tried over 50types of peaches, nectarines, plums and other fruit varieties. And even though you are only to take 1-2 pieces of each variety, my plate was full at the end of each section. Who would've thought there are like 20+ different kinds of peaches in the Silicon Valley? Some of my favorites were the Snow Beauty peaches, the Italian Ice peaches, as well as the green gage plums. But many were delicious and after awhile, they start to taste the same but they were still flavorful. The kids enjoyed fruit picking on the tour of the orchard and were able to pick some and taste along the way. You can purchase by the pound the fruit you pick or you can get some at the store. They also sell chocolate covered treats and desserts in the shop. Overall, still highly recommend trying this out. You can also just visit them and purchase fruit by the pound. I like that they have a"cheaper" section for "ugly" fruits and I was able to snag a couple of bags of delicious peaches there.
