My bedroom suite, my dining room table with leather chairs, buffets, armoires, credenzas and more all dented, dinged, chipped or damaged caused by this company who rushed throwing my furniture around as if it were plastic toys. Oriental rugs tossed in a corner. I had one young man who was gracious enough to help my husband and I who are in our 60's take and roll the rugs properly.A complete disaster and ruined by this so called company. The truth will prevail and word of mouth does have an impact on futures sales. They do not care about your valuables, for them its not a privilege its a job that stops at 5pm.

With less than two weeks notice of moving, I called Barring Moving and Storage. Even with a full schedule, they were willing to work with me to pack my stuff (I was already gone when they picked everything up) and store it until I was ready for delivery. Fast forward, 7 months, I rented a POD to transport my "stuff." They not only loaded the POD, worked with the drop off and pick up times, but when the POD driver left (without the POD) because there was no lock, Kieth put a lock on the container immediately after I called (within minutes). I had the driver turn around to pick up the container, who almost left without it AGAIN because the lock wasn't on right. Kieth, again, went out there to deal with the (very rude) driver and ensure the lock was on the container and the container on the truck. Additionally, they were more than reasonable with pricing... I would recommend them hands down for any small or large move.

They clearly explained what services they could provide and what precautions would need to be in place to safely complete the job--something no other company took the time to do. That level of detail is what made me choose them. The team spent five hours dismantling and removing a 10x12 building, which ended up being two full loads--a significant amount of work. Throughout the process, they were incredibly kind and respectful, both in our phone communications and in their interactions with my mom, who was onsite. Since I couldn't be there in person, they kept me updated with regular progress reports and photos, which I really appreciated. I was extremely impressed by their professionalism, work ethic, and communication. Their price was beyond fair for the service they provided. I highly recommend Haul All for any demolition or hauling needs.

The items were not stacked professionally and unreturned to my contents today and discovered several broken items!! After the sell this week, I went back to the unit to have my contents moved into the new home. I discovered broken and damaged furniture and a tv. Plus they dropped the coffee table and shattered the glass moving it into the unit. I reached out to the owner to notify him and to request a call to discuss filing an insurance claim of my contents. I have used A Christian Touch twice. The first time was a pretty decent experience. It was decent…read moreenough that I recommended them to my father to use as he was moving to the Charlotte area. In hindsight, that recommendation was incorrect. Let me hit on the first visit first. All in all, the visit and work by their team was good. They did show up late due to "not finding the address on google maps." At the time, I chalked that up as a legit possibility. After my second experience, it is hard not to think back and wonder if that was accurate. The workers did work hard, completed the work in a good amount of time. On to the second experience. I emailed the Owner one month in advance of the unpacking. I reserved 2 guys for 2 hours to unload the truck. After re-evaluating how much needed to be moved, I asked if we could increase the time allotted and the Owner said no problem. The load was a full 26' UHaul truck, it was a lot. The day of the move (3pm appointment), I get a call at 3:05p stating that one of the workers injured himself and that all other crews were in Charlotte. The gentleman stated he would reach out to the other crews to determine when they could get to our location. I asked "so you can't tell me if/when someone may be at our location to help unpack?" The short answer was no. So I waited. 15 minutes...30 minutes, no call back. In the mean time, I reached out to another moving company, seeking an answer to my prayers that someone would be available to help. No luck, but my prayers would be answered. More on that to come. Back to the crap show. My father (70 years old) began to unpack as much as we could since he was paying for the UHaul truck by the day. I called the company back 5 times and called the Owner 3 times. I also emailed and texted multiple times. No response back. They were absolutely ghosting me. To this day, I have not received an email or call back from this company. They cost us well over $150 in additional uhaul expenses, not to mention hiring a better more reputable company (more expensive) to save us a few days later. I hate writing reviews like this and I wouldn't have if someone would have called me back but it became apparent I was being ignored, actually avoided, and that doesn't sit well with me. They were speedy (got done in 3 hours) respectful and they took direction extremely well! Nothing was broken or misplaced in the process. On the date we agreed upon, John and Larry came out and packed up the fragiles I had not gotten to...mostly kitchen dishes. They were so diligent, they checked the dishwasher and packed up the contents I had forgotten about! The next day, 5 workers (John, Chris, Emon, Aaron, and Miles) brought 2 trucks and spent from 8 am to 5 pm packing them up. They did a beautiful job and I did not have to run around to make sure it was being done right. They did an especially good job wrapping the Ikea Billy bookcases which are made of MDF. None of the backs were lost or torn...no damages at all which is rare since these cases have been moved twice before! Then on to the new house (6 miles away) to unload. Now I have a LOT of stuff and they did not slack off unpacking all day long. I called it quits at 10 pm and told them to finish unloading the 2nd truck, just filling the first floor rooms and not worrying about where things belonged. John contacted the supervisor to arrange for a team to come back and finish up. The guys would NOT stop apologizing for not getting the job completed on the estimated timeline. I never had to call anyone, or got any runaround to finish the work. Instead, I heard from Darien on the next day and we arranged for him to come out on Monday. Even though he was by himself, he did all the work that was accessible: putting together furniture (my desk, and 2 beds). He arranged to come back on Tuesday with 2 more helpers. They smoothly got things put where they belonged and made sure I was happy with the process before saying goodbye. I was pleasantly stunned when they did NOT charge me for any of the time spent on Monday or Tuesday! During the packing phase on Saturday, one piece of glass on a cabinet was accidentally broken. They made sure to show me the damage immediately and John took photos for the home office. On Monday, with my permission, Darien removed the broken glass and the matching intact glass on the other side to use as a template. He took it to the company's trusted glassworker and came back with both pieces on Tuesday and repaired the cabinet...it's as good as new now! I never had to make a single phone call or lift a finger. All the workers were friendly, sympathetic, and industrious. These people are AMAZINGLY GOOD. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

My friend, who has a medical condition and is on a fixed income, was in need of an air purifier and found one online posted by Joseph D Johnson "Danny Johnson" of JD Johnson Furniture Barn 325 W Statesville Ave Mooresville, NC who also owns JD Johnson Moving Co 335 W Statesville Ave Mooresville, NC. It's described as being in "good condition" and when my friend asked him if it worked well and had a clean filter, he confirmed. To help her out on February 8, my husband delivered payment and picked up the machine (with nowhere to test it). And, of course, it ended up not working at all. Danny Johnson promised my friend to return her money. But then it was nothing but excuses for weeks and now he has been ghosting her all month.
