American Yards does not do a good job at all. I live in a small town home area and asked the lady…read moreon the riding lawn mower to NOT use a rider on my lawn that it sinks in & ruins the lawn. At one point, they had TWO riders on my lawn which again, is tiny! They never weed whipped nor blowed the clippings. It looked terrible for the price I was paying. They we're also supposed to mow my back yard, but "forget" every time but then still charged me for it. Because of all of these, I called & spoke with the owner who told me that they would no longer be cutting my lawn. The next week rolls around & they are cutting my grass which I told them I no longer wanted the service. American yards has terrible communication services and do not recommend to ANYONE!

This review originally had more information, some details of my complaints, photos, etc., that I…read morebelieve are accurate. I subsequently received a letter from a lawyer for this company threatening all kinds of legal hell and damnation if I did not remove the review. I believe that in a lawsuit I would ultimately prevail as I also believe the facts are on my side, but the costs of litigating can be oppressive. So for the time being I have removed the original test of this review and photos, while I decide if it's worth the costs of getting my own lawyer involved. Ask yourself do you want to do business with a company that when they receive complaints and bad reviews, gets their lawyers involved rather than engaging with the customer to resolve the issue or posting their own side of the story for the public to see?

Landscape design, they install and maintain our irrigation/sprinkler system and do our weed, fertilizer and mosquito control spraying. Their in-office customer support staff is awesome; polite, professional and friendly. All of their technicians (including David who, at this moment, is repairing a sprinkler system pipe leak caused by another company) are well-trained, knowledgeable and efficient. They show-up when they say they will and do a great job when they're here. We're RLM people for life!
