He made sure all the finishing touches were done. And I really appreciated how he cleaned everything up using his own broom and trash can. This is a new house for me. I came to Troy's Glass about a year ago. They came out measured and gave me an estimate. I didn't have the funds at that time and they didn't try to hard sell me. This year I was ready to work on my home. I went ahead and got a couple of other estimates. One was much higher and the other local glass co was similar. I went with Troy's because of their prior help. I now have energy efficient windows throughout my home. The crew worked systematically and picked up after themselves all along. I went there to get some glass cut to size for shelves. They quoted me a very reasonable price and took my order over the phone. They called me when the glass was ready a few days later as promised. The whole process took less than a week and they made it very easy for me. I asked for a quote on a custom sized mirror and they called me the next day with another reasonable price. I read the negative comments after I ordered the glass and got worried. I mentioned the reviews to them and they told me that the original owner sold the business to his brother who owns it now. I live in Visalia and definitely will travel to Tulare again if I have a need for glass work. read more

We recently ordered some special glass from Troys. We chose Troys because we knew the new owner and knew he was a hard working stand up guy you can count on. The entire process could not have been easier nor the staff more friendly! The receptionist was incredibly nice and thorough in double checking all our numbers (we were custom ordering). Troy's 2 gentle men installed 2 glass sliding doors and 3 large windows for my new construction home. They did an excellent job working with my own material. To help prevent further labor fee's due to a framing issue they took a lunch break so the framing could be fixed and they finished the job on time when they got back. Very respectful and considerate of customers time, money, and material. Troys actually adjusted the original total pricing for me since they didn't use as much of their install material as they anticipated. I am very happy with their service. They are unprofessional and have bad customer service. I scheduled an appointment for a Thursday at 3pm. The confirmed the appointment. They then called and asked to move it to the day before. I told them that didn't work from me and they said ok, we'll see you Thursday at 3pm then. Thursday at 9am I get a call with the estimate. So after I specifically told them they couldn't go on Wednesday they went anyways. This is unprofessional. So I called them and let them know I would not be using them and why so maybe they could keep this from happening to someone else. The person on the phone was rude. At first she was trying to act polite. In my situation I am in the process of buying the house and had to go through a realtor for the appointment. and the person at Troys that I was talking to to let them know the issue I had said, "This is why we don't like working with people in escrow. We would rather wait until that's done so we don't have this problem." That made me mad because the fact that I'm in escrow doesn't change or in anyway affect the fact that their guy was given a reason not to go on Wednesday and told no don't go, but he went anyways. So with her attitude and comment I feel not only was the customer service bad from the person to measure by showing up when they shouldn't, but calling to inform them privately of the issue they were rude as well. I would never recommend or work with a company like this. read more

Had them replace a dual pane window in February 2018 due to moister. Got moister a year later. Called them to fix it and all I get is a run around. Horrid customer service and huge lack of organization and standing behind work- don't use them. read more

Troy's Glass billed me for a factory built quality window but attempted to install a cheap window they clearly made themselves while claiming it was manufacture built. They tried to charged me full price when in fact it was nothing more that two pieces of glass they put together. It was flimsy and cheaply made. First experience I went through troys glass for my dinning room table glass was suppose to be done and delivered 2 days after order. Was not delivered till a week later they did all though take away my delivery fee still very inconvenient. Second experience I got a quote for my windows and went through hero program I got 7 windows and one widow turned into a patio door , electrical work was needed to move over electrical socket and wire in patio lights . Wiring was suppose to be ran through attic but was ran outside the guy they had do the work drilled holes through every single board in my patio ( new patio by the way) and left a hole in my dry wall . After trying to contact them they said they where done with work now I'm filing a complaint through cslb I do not recommend going through this company at all read more
