Everyone is safe and that's all that matters. However the aftermath always seems to take so much time and money. Insurance dictated that the towing be under 200$ to be covered. A little crazy since all parties have suggested towing to either a yard or storage. So that's two tow trips and one already costs over 110$ (estimate from Troy Towing). Anyway, I called Troy Towing and they immediately answered which was awesome. They appear to be open 24/7 for all those accident prone people. I can come back to this review once the whole process/experience has been completed. My hope is it doesn't take them 45 minutes to come since they are only 2 miles away... It's 5:50 (called 5:30). Let's see how long they take! :) Update: Well, it took them longer than I expected it to. Pick-up time 6:40pm. Drop off at the collision place 6:50. It was a fairly standard experience. He was fast and it was clear he wanted to jam out of there at the end. Price: 100$ for hook up fee 10$ for mileage 5$ for credit card fee Some dislikes: You get charged 5$ dollars extra if you use your credit card. When the gentlemen says "It'll be 110$ (2.5mi)" and then says "But if you are paying with credit card then it's 115$." Yeah... Not many people carry over 100+ dollars on them in 2017. Also, when I said where I was going to have them deliver they paused and said there was much better. Honestly, there very well could be but the car insurance company gave a list of companies and that's what you go with. They were fine. I hope I never have to call them again but I'm not sure I would given other choices.

I found this service by doing a Yelp search…read more I was stranded on a Saturday. My call was answered immediately and the dispatcher sent someone to meet me. I had no idea what was wrong with my car. I explained the issue to the tow driver, who arrived in about an hour's time. He didn't offer any solutions or suggestions, but I was still grateful for his professionalism and timeliness. He also allowed me to ride with him to my home - which was supremely valuable. Perhaps the tow company merely tows and doesn't offer suggestions. Turns out that all I needed was a battery.

This has been the absolute worst service from a towing service that i've ever received. It started…read morewith my wife's car breaking down in Ferndale, Mi on Woodward Ave on Saturday Oct 29th. I immediately went to the location and called AAA for a tow. I was told that it would be about 45min. That was at 2:15pm. The estimated time came and went while we had lunch at a local spot. After missing the original estimate I had to call AAA back 5 times for updates on the tow trucks arrival. Each time I was put on hold by the representative (or manager for the last two calls) while they contacted the tow company and was told each time that they spoke to the dispatcher (a woman who's name I don't recall) for A&M and was told that the driver had to respond to a police emergency and would be another 45min to and hour. At one point around 4pm we were told by the customer solutions member at AAA that the dispatcher said that they were dropping off another car in Ferndale as we speak. The driver was actually unhooking the vehicle at its destination at that very moment and should be there within 20min. That ETA also came and went. After calling AAA yet again, speaking to a representative, requesting to speak to yet another manager then After waiting on hold for 20min to speak to the dispatch supervisor for AAA..... FINALLY THE TRUCK ARRIVES! 5:45pm. Now, even after waiting an absolutely amazing 3 1/2 hours for a tow truck the thing that upset me most about the wait wasn't actually waiting, it was the fact that not once during this entire time did anyone contact me to tell me that there was a delay. I had to contact AAA myself each and every time so that they could contact A&M so they could relay one imaginary ETA after another. I only live 10min away! I could have waited at home for 3 1/2 hours instead of sitting in some random parking lot the entire time. 3 1/2 HOURS WAITING!
