When I called over there I was informed that she had moved to Dr. Sedwick's office. Yes, this woman is that amazing that I actually had to track her down and make an appointment with her at Dr. Sedwick's office. Well, it was worth it. First of all, Kelly is hilarious. She is funny and witty and will keep you completely entertained the entire time that you are in her office. Secondly - She is thorough and obsessed with sanitation. She does not double dip her sticks. Third - Out of all the waxers I have ever been to (and there have been a lot) Kelly's technique is the least painful. She uses a type of wax that takes longer to setup, but pulls more hairs out so you don't have to go over the same area as many times. If I seem a bit too enthusiastic over waxing, then you have never had a bad brazilian! The only downside is the price tag. Kelly charges $65 for a Brazilian and $15 for eyebrows. If you are going for quality then it is worth it, but it still hurts the wallet! Kelly also offers tons of other medical esthetician services. I am looking into their various laser treatments that she offers.

Today was disappointing... not so much about the level of care but based on when I called originally a few weeks ago to see if they treat a specific condition, I was told they do and have a few patients. Well, it turns out in less than 10 minutes, I'm told by the doctor that nothing can be done for me. That was extremely disappointing, it wasted money, a couple hours of my day to take time off work, drive into town and so on. It would be much better for the staff to know that something specific can't be treated rather than waste time for all parties, money and dash hope. As for everything else, check-in was prompt and I was taken back shortly after my scheduled appointment. The young man asking me questions didn't understand what I was being seen for and admittedly said he didn't know what to ask me. I didn't take offense, it's fairly rare. The doctor came in quickly, we spoke for a few minutes, mostly telling me things I already knew and unfortunately he told me there was nothing that could be done and I made my way to check out. I imagine their care is perfectly acceptable, as my previous ENT recommended I contact them, but as I said... it ended up being disappointing all around.

It has been 7 years now and I still have perfect vision. No glasses, no contacts--I'm in heaven! The procedure itself was fast (less than 30 seconds per eye) and the staff was incredibly competent and nice. I think they could tell I was nervous (who wouldn't be?!) because they made sure I was very comfortable and explained the whole process over and over again. If you qualify for LASIK, this is the place in Anchorage to go get the procedure done.

I had tonsil issues for almost four months while I was down in the states…read more All the doctors I went to prescribed varying antibiotics, but none killed off the infection. When I came back to AK I went straight to Kallman and he found that the only possible way for me to get back to normal was to pull those suckers out. A few week later, the surgery was done and I felt 100 times better. This doc really knows his stuff and is willing to talk to his patients. He's also a pretty nice guy, too.

Think VERY hard and ask around before going to this guy (I made the mistake of asking around after the fact). Also, I won't elaborate on his legal issues (they didn't involve me), but I would definitely suggest googling him and looking him up in the public courthouse database before deciding whether you really want to see him.
