Our visit to the Trout was very nice. The whole establishment has been made over to be like it's brand new. We have now eaten there twice. The food is well prepared and tasty. Prices are about right for the ares. Ambiance is good except both the main bar area and the dining room area can be very noisy when full of people.
Service was excellent and accommodating.
The general impression of the beef burgers was that they were tasty but the meat was more like a ball of meat than a patty. Try using the smash burger technique to have both great tasting and patty shaped burgers.
All in all we would return again to the Trout as it is a community pub. read more
