I went there last night as part of a wonderful family meal! We were welcomed with open arms and very nice it was.
I'd been there before the refurbishment, so wanted to see the improvement to the decor and wow, the front part of the pub/restaurant looks quite amazing. There restaurant itself still looks dated in comparison however.
The food was all the traditional selections but had a huge variety. The pies were very nice and the wine selection was excellent. Scallops are recommended and the deserts were excellent. Coffee however tastes bitter/burnt.
Highly recommended for family occasions! read more
