Moshe shared different options/plans for the front and back yard (including new retention wall, drainage + turf installment), along with fair estimates. Once I agreed to proceed, they added me to the calendar immediately. When the job started - it took them less than 4 days to complete (keep in mind, this was a very extensive project due to the new wall and drainage). Incredible job. The entire team was super professional, very nice, and extremely courteous to our neighbors. I would recommend them to anyone.

Fred and his crew at Deluxe Pool are the best!…read more I originally called for an estimate to replaster my pool, but I knew I also needed plumbing work because I had a leak somewhere in the system. Fred was able to give me a plaster estimate over the phone, but he came out personally to evaluate the leak situation. As it turned out, I needed to replace my old copper plumbing lines and reroute them under the brick decking. It was a major job, especially because the concrete beneath the brick was much thicker and harder than expected, requiring significantly more demolition and labor than originally anticipated. What impressed me most was that even though the project took longer and required more work, Fred honored his original quote and never tried to increase the price. That's rare these days. Many contractors would have adjusted the cost once the unexpected challenges were uncovered, but Fred is a man of his word. Once the demolition was complete, everything else went smoothly. Fred was on-site throughout most of the project, supervising the crew, answering questions, and making sure the work was done right. I also upgraded from standard plaster to mini pebble, and the finished pool looks absolutely amazing. On top of that, Fred told me that if any issues come up down the road, all I have to do is call and he'll take care of them right away. Professional, honest, reliable, and stands behind his work. I highly recommend Fred and Deluxe Pool to anyone looking for pool remodeling, replastering, or plumbing repairs. Thanks, Fred!

Throughout the process Fred was very direct and clear. He gave me a quote on the spot which was very nice and not something every contractor does. When it came time to do the work I was seriously impressed with the team. They worked super fast and efficient and everyone from the crew to the Foreman to Fred was very kind and professional. Fred also visited the site and supported his crew making sure everything ran smoothly. The final product came out amazing and we were thrilled with the end result. I would love to work with them in the future and have high confidence they'll keep doing a great job.

Our large yard in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains had become completely overgrown after…read morethe rains, so we had Jose and his crew do brush abatement work and tree trimming. If you know this area, you know how critical this work is... beyond curb appeal, proper brush clearance could be the difference between survival and destruction of our house and our community. Jose re-established our defensible space by trimming the canopy and hauling out a MASSIVE amount combustible material. The work was exemplary. Every detail we asked for was done with care and attention. We especially appreciated that the tree trimming was handled with an eye to aesthetics as well as safety. Not only that, The Gardener has very fair pricing! After so many disappointing experiences with other gardeners, we are glad to have found THE Gardener - a well-deserved moniker, indeed.

We couldn't be happier with the work Build Up Remodeling did on our pool…read more Our pool had seen better days. The plaster was peeling, several tiles were missing, and tree roots had cracked the coping and started lifting the surrounding concrete. We also had an old automatic pool cover system built into the pool, which made the whole project a lot more complicated. From the first meeting, Jessi was great to work with. He explained everything clearly, kept us updated throughout the project, and helped us through the permit process. He was also incredibly patient while we took our time choosing the tile and finishes. We never felt pressured, and he always made sure we were comfortable with every decision. Every crew showed up on time, worked hard, and cleaned up before leaving each day. You could tell everyone took pride in their work. When everything was finished, it honestly felt like we had a brand-new pool. The new plaster and tile look amazing, the damaged coping was replaced, the old pool cover system was removed, and best of all, we no longer have to worry about the tree roots causing more damage. The whole experience was much less stressful than we expected, and that was mostly because of Jessi. He was always available when we had questions and made sure everything was done the right way. If you're thinking about remodeling your pool or backyard, I highly recommend Build Up Remodeling. The quality of the work, communication, and overall experience were outstanding, and we wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

But what's this - there's another that still comes up to LA? Yes! Business has expanded, so there's a separate crew that makes it up here. Pipe repair and closing off a spigot was no problem. No, just by turning off and on the sprinkler valves it solved the issue (and I learned how to do it, too). You get so much value for their work, and (if it's of interest to you) an education as well. I called Trujillo for a quote for hardscape landscaping that involved grating my front yard and…read morelaying rock. Rigoberto said that he would send his "foreman" out to give the quote. Rigoberto's supposed "foreman" turned out to be some guy he throws business to when he isn't able or willing to do the work himself. So, Rigoberto sends a guy named Rosas to measure the lawn and give me the estimate. He's on time and gives me a too-good-to-be-true price for labor and materials. I schedule the work with Rosas because I assume he knows what he's talking about and there didn't seem to be any reason to doubt that he'd show up. Well, Rosas never showed up. I ended up texting him asking what the deal was and he responds with "so, so sorry. I am finishing a job and can be there on Wednesday," which would be two days later than we originally discussed. I told him to forget it and that I'd find someone else to do the work. Rosas does not have it together and anyone who promises you an extremely low price right out the gate, you should always be wary if they'll be able to pull it off much less show up to do the work. I should have listened to my original instincts. I wouldn't use Trujillo Landscape if I were you and I wouldn't trust Rigoberto's recommendations! These guys do not have it together.

Working with Joseph was seamless--he was extremely organized and communicative throughout the whole process. He's the whole reason we chose Regal instead of the other quotes we got and he really came through on everything we wanted while also giving us his valuable opinion. It was a decent-sized scope: we pulled out a row of old overgrown bougainvillea (stumps, roots and all), demolished a concrete slab by the garage, added a new flagstone pathway and patio, decomposed granite replaced an entire lawn, mulch and decorative pebble in the front yard, a long podocarpus privacy hedge, full drip irrigation conversion with smart timers, and landscape lighting in the front and back. They even installed our new fire pit for us. Joseph walked the property with us, gave real opinions about what would and wouldn't work instead of just saying yes to everything, and stayed reachable by text the whole way through. His invoice was also the most detailed quote we got, which gave us a lot of confidence that the details would be handled when we got through When we changed our minds on a couple of details mid-project, he handled it easily.
