Devon the manager, he made one mistake after another when l placed my order!!! My co-worker who goes here frequently, gave me a coupon for, buy a smoothie or wrap and get the 2nd smoothie or wrap free. I looked at the menu online so, l knew exactly what l was going to order. I ordered the Bahama Mama smoothie and the Jamaican jerk chicken wrap, both $8.99 each. Devon told me the wrap "came" with a side and listed about 7-8 different ones. I got the Jalapeno corn. Gave him my coupon and he said l owed $16.+. I said, did you take off the coupon? So, he said, oh, sorry, and took off the coupon. I sat and waited for about 15 minutes, while viewing my receipt, l noticed, l was charged for my side. Only $1.00, but, was told it came with the wrap. I really didn't want it as l felt the wrap was enough. When brought to the attention of one of the sweet girls working very hard, she said Devon had stepped out and didn't know when he would be coming back. So,l said, okay, l put $1.00 in your tip jar, l'll take that back, and we'll be square!!!! Devon came in, and l told him what happened, l said you can fix it and put the $1.00 back in the tip jar. He told me that the computer automatically adds the side amount onto the bill. Are you kidding me? You're the manager, get on the ball, you're supposed to watch for this kind of stuff!!! read more

Extremely Rude Staff - Watered Down Smoothies Avoid this place unless you enjoy paying $10 for frozen water with an attitude. We ordered three smoothies from here and all were terrible. They were watery and had no flavor - they tasted extremely bland. It is obvious very little fruit, if any was used in them. We order these all the time from a different brand and they are excellent. This store does not care at all about their customers. This is the third time this has happened at this location and they clearly don't care about serving a good product. They put the minimum amount of fruit to rip off their customers. This has happened too many times for it to be a mistake. As soon as we received them, we called to explain what happened and they refused to give us a refund and hung up on us. Extremely obnoxious and unprofessional all three times. I feel like someone that runs the tropical smoothie Café on Tamiami should know that I am the second person that just walked out because of being ignored at the cash register. A young man was making food and a young woman was making smoothies, washing the containers literally walking past people that wanted to order without acknowledging them or saying they would be with them in a minute to the point that the person in front of me left. I gave them another six minutes and then I walked out. I would go so far to say the young man had a scowl on his face looking pretty annoyed that anyone was in the store to begin with. Clearly the manager was off duty today and left it to these two who are really not the right people to be servicing people today.
