After the tornado hit, I needed to find a place nearby with power and wifi. I stumbled upon Tropical Smoothie Cafe. The workers here are very friendly and greet people as they come in. There's plenty of seating for both larger groups and small parties. Plenty of outlets too. Wifi isn't the fastest but it's enough. They have fun pop music going the whole time. It seems there are a lot of regulars that come here. It gets busiest just before noon and just before 1pm. I'm not a huge fan of sweets so I stick with the detox island smoothie and its good. Has a strong ginger taste. Ended up trying the breakfast southwest wrap and i like it. The turky sandwich is bigger but not as flavourful. would be good with the chipotle mayo. read more

So i was introduced to this place today ... all this time I thought it was just a smoothie joint. Apparently they have panini's, flatbread's and quesadillas. I had the Jerk Chicken Quesadilla which was quite tasty. Also tried some bites of the Pesto Chicken flatbread ... and that was also pretty good. The place was clean and the folks were very friendly. I live 1.5 hrs away but came to town for a doctors appointment. I wanted something healthy and light but filling. Whew their peanut butter banana crunch flatbread is so amazingly good. I should have gotten a picture, but I ate it too quickly. I got the Avocolada as well, and it was good as always. I added probiotic and collagen to mine. Everyone was friendly. I would definitely recommend this tropical smoothie. read more

While the greeting as I walked in was pleasant , the BLT Quesadilla I got was not. There were two portions of tomato slices, a piece ch of lettuce and one piece of bacon not even 3/4" square hanging off the edge. There was no flavor since there was basically no filling between the folded tortilla. The people there can be as pleasant as can be, but the wait was ridiculous and the food blech. Unfortunately, This Tropical Smoothie had no wraps, flatbreads, pineapple, or pork.. on a Monday, which knocks out most of their menu. It was my first time eating here and I feel as though I wasted my money. I had the blimey limey and jerk chicken wrap. The wrap was horrible idk what Jamaican food taste like but I hope it doesn't taste like that wrap. I didn't like how loosely rolled the wrap was and it had chicken and cilantro and pineapple that was so disgusting to me. The smoothie I got had lime in it so I thought it would be somewhat tart like lemonade or something I didn't taste it at all. The best part of the meal was the straw that was edible. I didn't want to like it, I really tried! I mean, come on, it's a smoothie chain. Talk about yuppie/hipster/fitness nut bait. But, despite my best efforts, I was lured in by some friends who offered by buy me a smoothie (I should have known then!) and found myself eyeing the "real" food menu. At the time, the special was a Spicy Thai Chicken Salad wrap, and that name alone was enough to make me hungry. It was also kind of huge for $5. So I got one. Once I had my smoothie and wrap, I went nuts devouring them both, made a huge mess, and wound up sitting in a chair surrounded by the utter wreckage of my meal, deeply and wholeheartedly satisfied. Yeah, I got hooked. And hooked good! The smoothies are solid, and huge, and the sauces on the other stuff are amazing. That Thai Chicken Wrap was awesome. Also tried some of their egg/breakfast wraps, and they're very satisfying. This location seems to get particularly good servers, in part because it's next to very busy game shop, which gives it quite a bit of business at both odd hours and from atypical crowds. Which is great training for staff :) And, after the recent renovation, it's probably the nicest TSC I've been in yet! It's also well situated near the Climbing gym, local martial arts kids camp, game shop, and... Well, nothing else. But as someone who visits several of those often, great location! read more

My wife and I regularly visit this place on the way to dropping me off at work to get a Blueberry Bliss and Chicken Bacon Ranch flat bread sandwich. The Happy Hour is between 7-9 am and the savings are incredible. The owner is always onsite helping out because the lines get long sometimes. Service is excellent and smoothies are consistently good. read more

Disrespects and embarrassed her employee in front of 10+ customers who sat back and felt bad as he worked as fast as he could (new guy in fact). Excellent smoothies, great locations, usually friendly staff, only downside is even with only 2 people in the place it takes 10 minutes to get the smoothies out, usually only one person making them but I understand when it's slow to cut down on staff, but the smoothies are worth it! The food and smoothies are of the same quality you'd expect from any other Tropical Smoothie, meaning it's a reliable place for cheap, mostly healthy food in a hurry. read more

Gloves are not for handling money. It doesn't matter how much of a hurry you are in. It isn't sanitary. Otherwise, this place seems fine. But it makes it hard for me to eat the food after seeing the gloves used for everything. Do they use the food prep gloves while cleaning the bathrooms? I hope that's a stretch. read more
