Tropical smoothie has been there for a while and I am happy to say it's still a solid location. I came to work here after my dentist appointment in the same area and it was a great decision. Online ordering makes it easy to get your food. There was ample amount of space there to sit and work (I wasn't the only one working there) and I was able to get on their WiFi. I had a great experience at this Tropical Smoothie location. I ordered a strawberry smoothie and the Detox Island Green, which comes with spinach, kale, mango, pineapple, and ginger. I also ordered a buffalo chicken wrap. The Detox Island Green is low calorie but still tastes great and refreshing. I also enjoyed the buffalo chicken wrap but wish it had a little more buffalo sauce because it was a little dry at times. This place was spotless and the cashier was very friendly. I ordered the Kiwi Quencher but substituted pineapple for kiwi. It was good but a banana substitution would have been better. It seems the Jetty Punch and Bahama Mama were the crowd favorites. Smoothies were made within a few minutes after ordering and the storefront had indoor seating. This is my go to spot after the gym! I like to come here and trying a different flavor every time. Especially the seasonal flavors. The staff is courteous. A lot of times the place and bathroom does look like it can use a little attention (meaning tables could use a little wipe or bathroom hasn't been checked to clean) other than that I truly enjoy coming here. I have tried the sandwiches on different occasions and I do enjoy. It makes me feel like I'm doing my body good by making healthy choices lol. I'm absolutely in love with their kale and apple slaw. I really want to love this place since its heathy menu appeals to me, however the Levittown location never seems to get it right. I downloaded the mobile app since I know the store is always very disorganized around lunch time. I arrived and waited online to pick up my order (which according to the app was supposed to be waiting in a different location but there was no separate area at this store). The smoothie was handed to me quickly, with a question of did you have any food with that. I let the employee know which sandwich I was waiting for. When I got to the car I noticed it had the wrong side- I asked for a banana and got kale slaw. This wasn't too much of a big deal since I like both. However, I started drinking the smoothie on my way home and it was one of the worst smoothies I have ever had. It was chunky- the texture and feel was as if I was drinking vomit. Needless to say it was thrown out immediately, as I did not feel like going back to argue. They also have a cute Hawaiian style with wood walls and floors. They have a men's bathroom and woman's bathroom which makes it more comfortable and nice. The workers are very nice and they let you choose from two different chips for your meal. You can get Sun chips or baked Lays. After a hard fought win I traveled to this fine establishment and indulged in a three cheese quesadilla which to my surprise was full of wonderful cheesy goodness. To quench my thirst I enjoyed a Bahama Mama smoothie which did the job. The establishment was fairly spotless and fast but lacked that special spark I was looking for in a place labeled "tropical". Why have something on the menu that you cant order? I came into the store today with my mother and i ordered a sunrise sunset smoothie. She ordered an acai bowl. The girl at the register said "I'm sorry we aren't making bowls in store right now". It seemed a little weird to have something on the menu that they wouldn't make, I just thought maybe they just ran out of the ingredients or something, no problem we will order a smoothie instead! We were then waiting for our order and a family walks up to the register to place their order. There was a new girl at the register now. The woman asks the girl "can I get an acai bowl?" And girl at the register puts it in no problem. Now, this was a different girl than the original girl that put in my order, so I was thinking maybe she just didn't know they were making them now. That was until the next girl behind the family was up to order. She asks for an acai bowl. The girl at the register said no. The girl ordering said you just put one in for the other woman so why can't I get one? And the girl at the register put the acai bowl in for her. I just don't understand why it was such a big issue for something that is literally on their menu. Did they not want to make it? Was that one customer special? I just don't understand. Oh yeah, and the bowls came out faster than our smoothies did anyway! I thought this was just an ordinary smoothie place until I passed by and noticed a window poster with a delicious looking sandwich on it. I went in and ordered a buffalo chicken wrap. The ordering process was easy and my order was ready pretty quickly. The wrap was freshly made. The chicken was grilled (not fried) and doused with lots of spicy buffalo sauce and some lettuce and tomato. I enjoyed the sandwich until almost the end where the last few bites were painfully hot since the hot sauce had dripped to the bottom of the wrap. It also came with a side. I chose kale apple slaw. With a lot of down time they can clean, but I guess choose not to. My smoothie came out relatively fast and was simply ok, nothing to brag about. My quesadilla came out about 15 minutes later. The young lady calling out my name completely messed it up even though it's right in front of her. The menu said it came with salsa; did not receive any. The service is very cordial and fast. The quesadilla is one of the best I've ever tasted. I love the mesh of authentic Mexican ingredients with an American twist. I had the Mango pineapple smoothie and I tried the mocha. Very unsweetened or perhaps just natural? Which might be what they're going for but when I'm not dieting I prefer my smoothies sweetened, and when dieting I usually stay away from this amount of carbs. But for those of you that like fruit smoothies with only natural sweetening from fruit itself might be your thing not mine. The mocha was also very unsweetened. After trying a different location closer to our office, I decided to visit this location, as well, after spending the day on Lawn Guyland. This location is extremely clean. Probably cleaner than most of the other food joints in the surrounding area. The staff is super-friendly and helpful, probably more friendly than they need to be. Since I had already been there before, I had a general idea of the smoothies they offer. They also offer fantastic, healthy options for food but I wasn't hungry. I settled on a peach smoothie that had peaches, strawberries, and bananas. I was a little hesitant due to the fact that I dislike bananas, but you barely tasted them! Overall this smoothie was good but the Mango Madness is 20 times better. This one seemed a bit watered down.
